    Frustrating Experience with Citypak

    Avoid using Citypak for deliveries! I hired them to send a document to VFS Global, and the experience was terrible. On July 1st, around 7:30 PM, a pickup agent arrived at my home and clearly didn’t understand his role. He had a poor attitude towards my mother regarding the delivery address, insisting he couldn't take the document because it lacked the address. However, the Citypak AWB was attached to the envelope, and he wouldn't accept that the address on the AWB was correct for delivery to VFS Global. When I tried to clarify over the phone that the delivery address was included in the AWB printout, he became aggressive, claiming he didn't care who I was or what I did, and refused to take the document, leaving without it. This kind of rudeness is unacceptable. I was already dissatisfied with their service as they delayed the pickup by nearly two days, and the pickup agent didn’t grasp the purpose of having an AWB with all the necessary addresses. Additionally, when I attempted to call them, no one answered, and there was no response to my WhatsApp messages. I emailed them twice and have yet to hear back. It's been four days of exhausting attempts to contact them. Just skip this service.

    Terrible delivery service experience

    Expect a delay of at least 7 days for any package you’re waiting on. Even if your parcel is at the nearest branch, don’t count on them to reach out for delivery. The phone number listed on Google seems to be for show only; they won’t pick up no matter how often you call. The service is truly the worst. When I tried calling the customer service hotline for Colombo, they just hung up after telling me to hold. I ended up calling six times in three hours just to get an update. Their response after all that was that they would 'try' to deliver my item but couldn’t guarantee it would be done that day. In the end, I had to go to the branch myself to get my package. They really don’t understand what a courier or delivery service should be.

    Terrible service experience

    I can't even give a single star for the ridiculous service I experienced. The delivery driver, Nimal, was completely unprofessional. He yelled at my mother and cursed at her after she missed a call from him. Even though she called him back just 10 minutes later, he refused to deliver the order and even threatened her. What kind of service is this if they can't show basic respect for their customers? I urge you to take appropriate action against this individual as soon as possible.

    Terrible courier service experience

    I’m giving just 1 star because I can’t go lower. Over the years, I've made numerous online purchases, but this has been the most frustrating delivery experience I've ever faced. I would not recommend this courier service to anyone, and I urge small businesses to steer clear if they care about their customers. I ordered two packages, which arrived at the Kandy branch, where they remained for nearly two weeks without being delivered. Since these items were meant as gifts, I needed them to arrive on time. I tried calling the Kandy branch multiple times, but no one picked up. I then reached out to the head office, and they seemed completely unconcerned. They assured me they would follow up with the Kandy branch, but I never got a return call. Given how they managed the situation, it was clear my parcels wouldn’t arrive on time. Ultimately, I had to go to the Kandy branch to pick them up myself. What’s the point of paying for a courier if I have to do the delivery? To make things worse, the Google Maps location was outdated as the branch had moved. Finding it was both frustrating and time-consuming. When I finally got there, I was appalled to see piles of undelivered packages everywhere. I truly felt for all the customers still waiting for their deliveries. When I inquired with the staff about the delays and the lack of phone response, I was met with excuses rather than solutions. They even tried to deflect blame, suggesting the issue was not theirs. Overall, this is easily the worst courier service I've encountered in Sri Lanka. If you want your packages to be delivered on time and expect at least a minimal level of customer service, steer clear of this company.

    Frustrating Delivery Experience

    I found the service to be very disappointing. My shipment has been delayed for over a week, and I still haven't received a clear update. Each time I reach out to customer service, I either get no satisfactory response or entirely different explanations each time. The lack of communication and professionalism is quite frustrating. A courier company should prioritize timely delivery and accurate information, and sadly, this company has fallen short in both areas. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend their service.
