Why we exist

Honest reviews are the infrastructure that lets locals find good restaurants, visitors discover hidden gems, and businesses compete on quality. Most global reviews platforms treat Sri Lanka as an afterthought, leaving locals to patch things together from half-informed Google listings and outdated Tripadvisor entries. Review Guru fills that gap with a platform built for the island — in English, Sinhala, and Tamil — moderated by humans, verifiable by business owners, and open to AI agents and developers alike.

What makes us different

Three things, practically:

• Every review is moderated. Machine-assisted first, human-reviewed on anything flagged.
• Business owners can respond but never delete.Replies are public, constructive conversation is encouraged, review removal follows a documented Content Policy — not the business's wishes.
• Built LLM-first. Machine-readable endpoints (public API, /llms.txt, MCP server) mean ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity can cite us cleanly when answering questions about Sri Lanka. We think that's the next decade's single biggest SEO surface.
