On June 1, 2025, at 4:20 PM, a lady doctor parked her white car at the patient slope entrance. She rudely asked the security guard to inform the auto driver who was about to drop off a patient. It was an illegal parking situation.

Terrible experience at this hospital

This is by far the worst hospital! I strongly advise against going here, especially if you're a foreigner, as they exploit anyone with money. Their focus seems to be solely on profits, not patient care. They insisted that my father, who is on dialysis and brought all his medical reports, needed to redo everything. When we declined, they claimed they wouldn't assist without consent. They issued a bill for 13,540, stating they performed five different blood tests, yet they hadn’t even drawn blood from my father at all. It felt like a complete theft. The dishonesty in this hospital is astounding; they care only about charging patients for services not rendered. Honestly, they don’t even deserve a one-star rating, but that’s the minimum I can give for a review.

Disappointing hospital experience

My experience at this hospital was quite disappointing. It appears that their priority is more on profit than on delivering quality care. The staff acted unprofessionally and irresponsibly, and the doctors failed to arrive at the scheduled appointment times. Patients are left waiting with no proper communication or updates. Based on what I went through, I can't recommend this hospital.

Excellent Hospital for Surgeries

Frustrating Experience with Poor Service

My visit to Jaffna Venus Hospital was quite disappointing due to the lack of customer service. I was initially told that my blood test results would be ready in three hours. However, when I returned, I was asked to come back after 4:00 PM. I showed up again at 4:45 PM, only to learn that the reports still hadn't been signed and I needed to wait until after 7:00 PM. If there are delays, patients deserve to be informed clearly and provided with accurate updates, rather than being sent back and forth unnecessarily. I really hope the hospital can enhance its communication and customer service for future patients. This isn't my first bad experience here...

Scheduling Issues Dampen Experience

On the surface, everything seems fine, but I have a major concern about the scheduling. The main problem we've faced is that the time set for our appointment is way too early. This inevitably leads to a long, unnecessary wait before the doctor can see us, which is frustrating and eats up a good chunk of our evening. I really wish the administrative staff would handle patient flow and the booking system more effectively by better predicting the time needed. Additionally, it's worth mentioning that parking is very limited, which makes it tough for those of us who drive or ride motorcycles to attend.
