This hospital is where specialists typically hold their appointments, making it easy for us to secure our own appointments as well. The prices are quite reasonable, and there’s no sense of being rushed.

The service was extremely slow; there was just one nurse wandering around the hospital with no patients in sight. I don't understand why they are operating like this. It would be more sensible to shut down the hospital and just keep the pharmacy open. The staff seemed lethargic and unresponsive. I would recommend going to a general hospital instead of this one.

I advise you to consider other hospitals for PCR tests, as this one charges significantly more than its competitors. They also take over 24 hours to provide results, which can lead to missing your flight due to last-minute report delivery. For instance, in Colombo, the report is ready in just 4 hours and costs 6,500/=. In contrast, Yarl Hospital demands 8,500/= and takes longer than a day. Additionally, the service is extremely slow. The staff at the counter seem inexperienced, taking far too long for even simple entries, resulting in very poor customer service.

I want to highlight some issues regarding the staff at the Manthigai branch in Point Pedro. The employees seem unsure of how to communicate with patients and bystanders. When we call to inquire about doctor availability, their responses are lacking. Additionally, they often neglect to write the dosages prescribed by doctors on the medication packets or sachets, which makes it difficult for patients to take their medications correctly. There is also a noticeable lack of knowledge when it comes to issuing medicines. Even when medications are available, they inform us that we need to check nearby pharmacies, despite the fact that the drugs can be found in their own cabinets. If patients aren’t well-versed in medications, it complicates their ability to take them properly. I respectfully urge management to address these issues and ensure that staff act with a sense of responsibility. They seem to treat patients as if they are just toys. It’s vital to enhance the hospital's service quality, as many rely on the expertise of your doctors to ease their suffering. I appreciate your prompt response to my complaint. If I hadn’t shared feedback regarding the staff's unprofessional behavior, it could harm your hospital's reputation, leading to rumors among patients. The presence of a hospital like yours is a significant benefit to those living nearby; otherwise, other private hospitals may take advantage of the situation. Some patients are hesitant to provide blood samples due to staff's inexperience with drawing blood. I can personally attest to being affected by the staff's lack of responsibility. Today, I was looking for surgical equipment in Jaffna for a patient's procedure and couldn't find it anywhere. Eventually, I contacted Yarl pharmacy, and they confirmed they had what I needed. I arrived within an hour and waited 15 minutes, only to be told they didn't have the equipment after all. Why are you being so irresponsible, disregarding our time and the seriousness of the patient's condition?
