    Excellent Surfing and Romantic Sunsets

    This hotel is a fantastic spot for surfing, situated right by the ocean. It's perfect for beginners and those looking to learn; just reach out to the manager, Pasha, who can arrange lessons with a skilled instructor. You can also rent a board from him. Pasha organizes excursions as well, and his prices are more reasonable than those offered by tour operators. In the evenings, you can enjoy stunning sunset views from the second-floor balcony, which is ideal for taking beautiful photos or having a romantic dinner. Occasionally, wild turtles visit the hotel at night to lay their eggs—an enchanting experience you won’t find on any paid tour. I highly recommend this place for both a fun group getaway or a family vacation. The hotel can assist with planning weddings and unforgettable honeymoons, complete with a gorgeous traditional photo shoot that includes costumes, decorations, and music, perfectly capturing the atmosphere.

    Charming beachside spot with great views

    The atmosphere here is delightful, complemented by a friendly team. Located right by the beach, you can enjoy a refreshing sea breeze while sipping a hot cup of tea. Just in front of the hotel, there's a prime surfing spot. In the evenings, the sunset is truly captivating. The nightlife is vibrant with nearby discos. The restaurant stays open until 10 PM, offering a chance to savor Sri Lankan cuisine, especially seafood, along with some English dishes.

    Great location and friendly staff

    This place is fantastic, with a wonderful team that is both responsive and kind. Among all the restaurants in Hikkaduwa, they stand out as the best. It's rare to find such cheerful and friendly people, but they are truly here. Huge thanks to the staff at Hansa Surf. You can also rent a moped from them or enjoy a game of table tennis. The hotel is just a short stroll from the ocean—literally only one and a half minutes away. While the rooms may not be five-star quality, if you’re visiting Sri Lanka, why stay inside? The hotel's location is perfect for hiking and exploring in either direction along Hikkaduwa. Plus, the nearest beach without a reef is only about 50 meters away, which is something most hotels can’t claim. The air conditioning works well too.

    Great Beach Location with Friendly Staff

    This place is fantastic by the beach. The staff is exactly what you would hope for, and it's conveniently located next to Hikka Center, which has plenty of restaurants, all facing the beach. It's definitely worth a stay. The rooms are clean and new, and all the facilities are functioning well. The team is nice too.

    Welcoming staff and great value

    I made a reservation on the morning I arrived. The staff were incredibly friendly, greeting us with smoothies and flowers. The price was excellent, and the room met all our needs. I would definitely recommend this place! Thank you very much!

    Incredible location. Nice, simple, and clean room with air conditioning. Basic hotel, but extremely cheap.

    Great service from Hansa Surf staff

    I'm really grateful for the assistance from the staff at Hansa Surf hotel! In particular, Prabhashwara, the receptionist, was incredibly helpful with everything I requested. The manager, Heman, is also a very friendly and polite gentleman. The kitchen staff are kind as well, making me feel right at home.

    Welcoming atmosphere and great food

    This is a fantastic spot! The staff greeted us warmly and assisted us with everything we required. We were even allowed to set up our hammocks. The food was really tasty, so much so that we asked if we could see the preparation process. The accommodating staff even organized a mini cooking class for us. The atmosphere is laid-back and caters to a variety of personalities. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting.
