I had lunch here and it was fantastic; both the food and drinks were delicious. The staff were incredibly friendly, always eager to assist and ensure everything was perfect. I will definitely return and highly recommend this place.

After meeting the owners, I returned for dinner. I ended up on the rooftop on a lovely cool night, enjoying an amazing view to the north. I kicked off my meal with the chicken lime vegetable soup, which was bursting with flavor. For my main course, I opted for the butter chicken from the Indian menu, a nice twist on the usual curry. It was also delicious, with generous portions of chicken. The delightful waitress encouraged me to indulge further and suggested the homemade chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream. She was spot on— it melted in my mouth and became my favorite dish of the evening. I highly recommend the food and I’m excited about staying here soon. A big shout out to all the staff for their warm welcome and hospitality. Great job, Emerald Resort; it was just perfect.

I went to the lower floor restaurant with some friends for dinner, and it was a fantastic experience! The food was incredibly tasty and bursting with genuine flavors. The staff were super friendly, courteous, and always eager to assist. Everything was immaculate and well-organized, plus I really appreciated the open kitchen concept — it really highlights how clean and professional the establishment is. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking quality food and a nice dining environment!

This hotel in the center of Hikkaduwa is fantastic. From the time we arrived, Tusitta and his team were incredible. They couldn't have been more helpful. Our room, number 7, the executive suite, was spacious and impressive. Breakfast was fresh every morning; I particularly enjoyed the avocado and eggs on toast. The evening menu featured two of the best curries I had during our trip. Our rooms were cleaned daily, and Nipun, the attendant, crafted some lovely towel art. The rooftop pool is a nice extra as well. I highly recommend this place! ♥️

Our experience at Emerald Resort was fantastic. We booked a superior suite through booking and it turned out to be the best choice - the room was roomy, bright, and decorated in beige tones. A big thanks to all the staff, especially Nepul, who made our stay enjoyable by creating fun towel designs and placing them on our bed (please see the pictures). In terms of location, this resort is right in the center of Hikkaduwa, making it super convenient to access the beach, cafes, and shops. We had a great vacation here and I recommend everyone to give it a try.
