    Frustrating Experience with Delays

    I am extremely disappointed with this medical center after multiple visits. Each time, the doctors were significantly late without informing us. As patients, we sometimes arrive in severe pain or with children. On one occasion, the doctor was 2.5 hours late, and since I was number 13, I ended up waiting for 4.5 hours. My entire body ached from sitting there for so long. Additionally, the air conditioning wasn't working. Unlike other medical centers that keep patients updated via text or calls, this place only communicates if you inquire yourself. I'm really unhappy with how they manage patient care.

    Frustrating service experience

    The service here is awful. The public number listed on Google is always busy, making it impossible to reach anyone, even in an emergency. Overall, this is a very poor service experience.

    Needs Improvement in Service and Maintenance

    There are some basic maintenance issues that need addressing. The doctors often aren't on time, and the staff could be friendlier. You might find yourself calling multiple times just to get through. Parking is a challenge, as the provided spaces are inadequate, and the place tends to be quite crowded. The front desk isn't very welcoming either; they frequently misspell names, so be careful if you plan to submit bills for insurance reimbursement. Although there's a wait, you can still get your medication. The doctor was more personable than the rest of the staff.

    Unacceptable hygiene standards

    Durdans in Negombo doesn’t even warrant one star. I went to Durdans Channel Center, Negombo, and the state of the restrooms was appalling—filthy floors, puddles, stained fixtures, and no toilet paper available. To make matters worse, they seem to disregard patient feedback; from what I’ve seen in reviews, there’s been minimal to no improvement over time. Patients deserve better hygiene and respectful treatment, especially in a healthcare setting. Management needs to focus on basic cleanliness, beginning with those restrooms, and they must start addressing concerns instead of ignoring them.

    Frustrating experience with poor communication

    I had a truly disappointing experience. I drove 80 kilometers to see the doctor, and when I called to inquire about the ongoing number, they told me they didn’t know it because it was the receptionist answering. What’s the purpose of a channelling center if they can’t even communicate with their own staff to find out the number? :(
