    Great Beachfront Experience at Drifters

    I just had a wonderful stay at Drifters in Hikkaduwa, and I highly recommend it! The location couldn’t be better – right on the beach with breathtaking views. The rooms are lovely, spacious, and very clean. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, and you’ll often see management around, ensuring everything operates smoothly. The beachfront bar is perfect for enjoying sunset cocktails, and the restaurant offers some of the best food I’ve tasted in Sri Lanka. Additionally, the pool is ideal for a refreshing swim after a day of surfing!

    Great location with room for improvement

    The highlight of this hotel is undoubtedly its location, allowing direct access to the beach. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. However, the breakfast options could be improved as there aren't enough choices available. The rooms are decent, but we often faced the issue of cold showers when the hot water ran out, requiring a lengthy wait for it to return. Additionally, more storage space would be beneficial, as I found it challenging to fit all my belongings. On one occasion, we experienced a power outage that lasted for an hour.

    Great beach with nearby dining options

    The beach is really lovely, and the rooms are clean, although the furniture is quite dated. I found the lack of hangers in the shower room inconvenient, and the shower had only a short tube. Breakfast was decent. The hotel doesn’t have a restaurant or bar for dinner; there’s just beer available at the bar. However, there are plenty of bars, restaurants, and markets in the vicinity. It’s also the perfect spot for surfing with excellent waves.

    Great hotel for a vacation

    This is a lovely spot. It's really clean, and the beach is fantastic. I have plenty of positive things to say. I definitely recommend this hotel for a wonderful getaway.

    Fabulous Seafront Stay

    This is a wonderful place! We spent two nights in their seafront room, and it was absolutely fabulous. The view was breathtaking, especially with the stunning sunsets each evening. Plus, the private balcony was beautiful.
