Our group of 30-40 family and friends had a fantastic time at the Wirdana Resort. Manager Nirosh and his team made sure that all our needs were met, and they took care of our late meal requests and other requirements wonderfully.

This review is mostly negative, so I’ll provide as much detail as I can. Our group of 20 stayed for one night, booking three units on a full-board basis. Food: 1/5 - There's a significant need for improvement here. The higher prices do not match the quality of the food. Location: 1/5 - The road from Galle Road is quite narrow. If you drive a low car, be cautious as the uneven road might scrape the bottom. I suggest taking the exit from Galle instead of Baddegama; it’s much easier and more convenient. Parking: 4/5 - There’s plenty of parking space, but watch out for the coconut trees that could damage your car. Also, be mindful of a circular area near the entrance; keep to the left to avoid any mishaps with your front bumper. Rooms: 0/5 - I would rate it negatively if I could. The beds and sofas are extremely low and not ergonomic at all. I couldn’t find a piece of furniture that was comfortable to sit on for more than 15 minutes. If you have back issues, steer clear of this place—brushing your teeth is a struggle since the sinks are very low. Shower: 2/5 - It somewhat functions, but there’s no hot water, just barely lukewarm, which is better than nothing. The shower is an outdoor open-roof extension to the toilet, which I’m not a fan of due to the leaves and dust. Also, there’s no detachable shower head to clean the area before or after showering. Staff: 4/5 - The staff were friendly and helpful where they could be.

This resort offers a peaceful atmosphere, located about 15-20 minutes from Galle Fort. The Balinese-style villas are ideal for families of 4-6 and served as an excellent base for our stay in Galle. We visited during the off season and were the only guests at the hotel, which added to the serenity of our experience.

We stayed at Wirdana Resort about a month ago, and it was a fantastic experience! The property offers a serene and tranquil environment, ideal for those wanting to relax. The staff was incredibly warm and generous, making us feel right at home. Our suite was roomy and very accommodating for kids, which enhanced our comfort during the visit. The owner was also very friendly and engaged in pleasant conversations with us. We particularly appreciated their laid-back approach to check-in and check-out times—there was no unnecessary hassle at all. If you're seeking a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of city life, Wirdana Resort is definitely the right option!
