Great hotel, but noisy music issue

This hotel is stylish and modern, situated in an excellent location. However, as others have pointed out, it’s not ideal for those arriving tired after a long trip due to the unbearable and extremely loud live music. Even with my double-glazed window, I can feel the bass drum and bass guitar from two floors down vibrating the glass; it's quite maddening and even painful at times. 😣🙉 Update - I’m happy to say that the wonderful and accommodating staff have made an effort to relocate me to a quieter part of the hotel. 🙏🛌💤

Enjoyable stay with unique service

I stayed here for just one day, and the room was nice and tidy. The standout feature of this hotel is the robotic delivery system for food to the rooms. We even ordered drinks just to try it out! The location is fantastic, with major food outlets and some great cafes close by. The staff was very friendly and accommodating!

Great location and comfortable stay

Fairway Colombo earns a solid five stars for its location. It's conveniently located just a 500-meter walk from the famous Galle Face Beach. The area is peaceful, safe, and beautifully illuminated at night, with numerous lovely restaurants nearby, making evening walks particularly enjoyable. Getting around Colombo is a breeze, thanks to easily accessible public transport, including autos and local options. Being so close to both the beach and dining hotspots greatly enhances the experience of staying here. While the buffet isn't as extensive as those at larger resorts, it was well-stocked and thoughtfully arranged. There were ample vegetarian choices, and both dinner and breakfast were filling and satisfying. The staff truly shine—very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. The hotel itself is quite basic, lacking any frills, but it meets all essential needs comfortably. Clean, functional, and efficient, it’s exactly what you want for a city stay in Colombo. In summary, Fairway Colombo is an excellent option if you prioritize an unbeatable location, safety, and comfort over luxury—simple, practical, and perfectly suited for city exploration.

Friendly staff but odd room layout

The staff here is really friendly. Breakfast was decent. However, I did have one concern regarding the room: it had a door leading to the hallway and another door that connected to the adjacent room, which felt a bit unusual.

Excellent hotel in Colombo

Great location and friendly staff

The hotel is situated in a prime area on a lovely, narrow street. They offer a lift for car parking, and I felt secure leaving my bicycle there. It's conveniently located near Tomorrow City. The staff were very helpful and always greeted me with a smile. Room service was satisfactory, and the rooms themselves were clean and quite nice.

Great location but tricky access

The hotel's location is fantastic, situated in the Central Business District, though it has very narrow lanes leading to it from all sides. While it's great for walking, it's not ideal for cabs or other vehicles, and there’s no parking available nearby.
