I have a very high opinion of this medical center in Weligama. Initially, I needed an ear piercing removed due to an infection from the sea. The staff were incredibly thorough, kind, and patient. Recently, I was worried I might be entering a bipolar depression episode, so I sought help quickly while feeling panicked, especially being away from home. The doctor and staff were immensely helpful, kind, and reassuring. They arranged for transport to Galle to see a psychiatrist on the same day. Such prompt treatment would be unheard of in the UK, where you often endure weeks of suffering while waiting for appointments and have to fight to get into the hospital if necessary. The psychiatrist was knowledgeable about my condition and asked pertinent questions. He was a very nice man who prescribed an additional short-term medication. I was then brought back to Weligama, where I spoke with the doctors and nurses again. They were so supportive, assuring me that I could return to see them anytime. Their genuine care really stood out. They truly saved my day, and I’m so grateful they were close by to assist me. I've never encountered such quick and efficient service for mental health issues in my life. A huge thank you to all the staff there.

Outstanding service! The staff truly goes above and beyond to provide professional care. I visited due to my infected reef cuts, and they took excellent care of me. I felt at ease as they frequently checked on my condition. They provided the necessary antibiotics without requiring any effort from me. A fantastic place for anyone with an injury.
