Great Stay at Orion City Hotel

I spent a night at Orion City Hotel with a friend from abroad and had an excellent experience. The rooms were tidy and comfortable, and the hotel's location near the city center was very convenient. We felt completely safe and secure during our visit. The staff were welcoming, professional, and very helpful. I would certainly recommend this hotel to others.

Great stay with a stunning view

The room was spotless, and we enjoyed a wonderful view of Colombo city, including the Lotus Tower. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, thoughtfully giving us a room with an excellent view. I was initially hesitant to book due to a negative comment about lost belongings, but we encountered no problems and felt entirely secure during our stay. There’s a restaurant on the premises, although we didn’t sample it. Barista and Pizza Hut are conveniently located right next door. There’s ample parking available, and it’s overseen by security. I would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to book again.

Service speed needs improvement

The speed of food service could use some work. It's straightforward—staff just need to be trained on expectation levels. Despite pre-booking our meals, they still got it wrong and were late, which was frustrating. On the bright side, the overall service was decent, and the staff were friendly.

Clean room but breakfast letdown

The room was spotless and offered a fantastic view. However, I was let down by the breakfast service. I only stayed for one night, but aside from that, the staff were warm and welcoming.

Pleasant Surprise at This Hotel

Great staff and stunning views

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, largely thanks to the staff, particularly Lalith, who was exceptionally kind. The view is spectacular, offering a sense of seclusion despite being close to the cricket ground, but getting around is easy with tuk tuks, so it’s not really a problem.

Comfortable stay with great views

I had a fantastic experience at Orient City Hotel. The room was spotless, cozy, and kept in great condition. The views were stunning and truly enhanced my visit. The food was delicious and expertly prepared. All in all, a very enjoyable stay that I highly recommend.

Great stay with a beautiful view

During my stay at Orion City Hotel, I had a really enjoyable experience. The hotel was very clean and had a modern aesthetic that I appreciated. I particularly liked being on a high floor, as the view of Colombo city was stunning. The service at the restaurant was top-notch, with attentive and professional staff. On a downside, I encountered a minor issue with the bathroom shower. The glass window was unclear, which made it difficult to fully appreciate the city view from that spot. That was somewhat disappointing.
