The hostel's entrance might seem a bit sketchy, but don’t let that deter you. Once you step inside, everything is spotless and the atmosphere is very tranquil. The location is great, and they even provide free drinking water to refill your bottle.

The images online don’t quite match reality. The room is quite compact, but the air conditioning functions well. The staff is accommodating, and there’s ample space to hang laundry. It's a plus that they offer drinking water. The location is convenient, being near a shopping mall, the beach, and several dining options. While the place is generally clean, I did notice a large cockroach outside the room.

The hostel is well-maintained and in a fantastic location, making it easy to walk to the beach and nearby restaurants. However, I was disappointed when the host requested an additional fee for storing my luggage after checkout, as most hostels typically offer this service for free until the evening.

I have no complaints about this hostel. It's affordable, and the bathroom and shower facilities are well-maintained. The soundproof rooms are comfortable, and the relaxation area is perfect for unwinding. You can make tea or coffee there, thanks to the refrigerator, water heater, toaster, and microwave. The host is a friendly guy, too.

My partner and I spent time in a mixed dorm, and we found all the rooms and amenities to be very clean and up-to-date. The owner was really friendly and easy to talk to. Plus, the location was perfect for strolling through Galle Face and quick trips to all the key spots. This place offers excellent value for the price, and we would certainly choose to stay here again if we come back to Colombo.

Honestly, this is one of the hostels I would prefer to skip. While it has been renovated and is clean, the rooms are quite small, leaving hardly any room to move. They don’t offer female dorms, and there’s barely enough space for women to change. The downstairs rooms only have a sliding door leading directly to the common washroom. The website mentions that laundry is complimentary, but the staff wouldn’t let me use the washing machines upstairs, forcing me to pay to wash my clothes in a different machine. On the plus side, they do provide free drinking water, and the location is quite good. However, that’s about it. I wouldn’t return here.

The hostel was impressively clean and well-kept, which I really appreciated. The staff at the reception were friendly and patient, and the overall space was cozy. I particularly loved the top floor, which featured a stunning view and a lovely balcony. There were three bathrooms and three separate toilets on our floor for twelve people, so we never faced any long waits. Plus, its location was quite convenient. However, there were a few downsides. The beds were a bit noisy when you moved around. We also discovered that the refrigerator and laundry facilities were located upstairs, something the reception didn't inform us about, so it would have been helpful if they had shown us around upon check-in. Additionally, the lockers were lock-free, meaning we had to bring our own locks for security.

This is one of the top hostels I've experienced during my time in Colombo. Its location near Galle Face is very convenient, right in the bustling center of the city. The staff were fantastic—I'd like to give a special shoutout to Manjula for his exceptional service and friendly demeanor. The rooms were spotless, the bathrooms were well-kept, and there’s a small kitchen area that was also clean and organized. Overall, it was a great stay with excellent service. I highly recommend it.

This is a lovely little hostel situated in an excellent spot just by Galle Face. The friendly and accommodating staff added to the relaxed vibe, making it a perfect retreat from the city's hustle and bustle. The dorms were tidy and well-maintained.

My stay at the hostel close to Galle Face Green was genuinely one of the highlights of my backpacking adventure. The hostel offered a range of useful amenities that made my experience both comfortable and convenient. The rooms were consistently clean, tidy, and well-kept, allowing me to unwind after long days of exploration. What truly impressed me was the staff. The front office team was incredibly helpful, and the cleaners were both friendly and diligent. Every staff member treated guests with warmth and respect. The overall atmosphere was cozy and inviting, reminiscent of a close-knit family. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and would definitely recommend it to fellow backpackers.
