Spacious and Cozy Stay Near Mall

This place is situated very close to Havelock City Mall, with parking available. The room was both spacious and cozy, equipped with all the necessary amenities. The bathrooms were kept clean, and the service was quite good. The only downside was some occasional noise coming from the other side of the room, which was noticeable due to one wall being made of board rather than bricks.

    Mixed experience at this hotel

This was the worst hotel I stayed at in Sri Lanka. While the lobby staff were very friendly, the rooms were unattractive and in disrepair. The wifi connection was either very weak or completely absent. In the middle of the night, the electricity in our room went out, leaving us without air conditioning. We also had to wait nearly an hour for breakfast, and when it finally came, the toasted bread was soggy.

    Poor Service Detracts from Stay

The service at this hotel is disappointing—I'd rate it a zero. The room cleanliness left much to be desired, with sand on the floor upon check-in, a lingering smell of smoke, used tissues, and a bathroom lock that didn’t work. When I requested service, they would agree right away, but I ended up needing to follow up six to seven times or go to the front desk personally to get issues sorted. Additionally, items in the room weren't replenished. The service overall was just unacceptable. I suggest considering the Trillium Boutique Hotel in the area instead for a similar price, as they offer free breakfast, a swimming pool, and exceptional service. I mention this alternative because my experience here fell short of what one would expect from a hotel. There's definitely room for improvement.

    Calm spot with convenient access

This is a pleasant place to stay, offering a peaceful atmosphere. It's also conveniently reachable by public transport. You can enjoy meals from their restaurant, which features Indian cuisine. I highly recommend this place.

    Good food, poor late-night service

The service fell short during my visit. We requested a cup of hot water, but were told they couldn't provide it because they were closing the restaurant at 11 pm and had already finished cleaning the kitchen by 10:43 pm, even though customers were still arriving. This isn't acceptable for a restaurant. On the bright side, the food was quite good.

    Tasty food but cleanliness issues

This restaurant offers delicious food and has a welcoming staff. Unfortunately, the management needs to focus on cleanliness, especially in the hand washing area, as the sinks looked unclean. I've been here several times and have seen this problem continue. Because of the condition of the wash basins, I chose not to use the restroom.

    Loud service and thin walls

This restaurant is quite a disappointment. The service was incredibly loud, and they played music late into the night. The walls are paper-thin, so I could hear every little noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms. Even after I raised a few complaints, the staff did nothing to address the issue and remained just as loud.

Good food but watery pineapple juice

It's a solid spot. My friends and I decided to check it out today. We ordered the mixed Nasi Goreng, which was tasty but could benefit from less spice, and the dum chicken biryani that was just okay. For drinks, we had a Milo milkshake, pineapple juice, and lime juice. The main issue was with the pineapple juice—it was too watery and not thick enough. The other two drinks were quite good, though! Just a small fix needed there.
