Our time at MSM Surf School was absolutely wonderful. The instructors were friendly, patient, and laid-back, which made the learning process enjoyable. Even during our first lesson, we managed to catch plenty of waves, and we loved it so much that we returned the next day. Their prices were significantly lower than many other surf schools in the area, and the inclusion of transport was a great added bonus. The ride itself turned out to be quite an adventure. The drivers were exceptionally friendly and made stops whenever we spotted wildlife along the route. We were able to see elephants, monkeys, various birds, and even a large water monitor. This experience was definitely a highlight of our stay in Arugam Bay. We would wholeheartedly recommend MSM Surf School to anyone looking to learn surfing or enhance their skills.

We had the joy of surfing with Sam and his two brothers on two different occasions, and they were absolutely amazing each time. Our group had a mix of kids and adults with varying experience levels, from complete novices to those with some background in surfing. From the moment we got into the water, Sam and his brothers made everyone feel secure and confident. Their patience, encouragement, and engaging teaching style were exceptional. They prioritized safety while ensuring that everyone was enjoying themselves. By the end of our sessions, we all felt like professional surfers! I ended up taking three surf lessons here, and I feel like I'm almost a pro surfer now! (Just kidding—I’m still a total beginner!) The instructors were fantastic—patient, supportive, and a lot of fun. They always made sure I felt safe while in the water. Thanks to their guidance, I even managed to handle some pretty big waves (which felt massive to someone just starting out!). I made more progress than I anticipated and gained confidence on the board after each session. If you’re considering learning to surf, I highly recommend this school.
