Great value! The rooms are roomy and the bathrooms are reasonably clean. While the amenities are basic, the pricing aligns with that. You can order food from a menu a day in advance. The location is also excellent, just a short distance from the safari gate.

The individual lodges are wonderfully designed and set in a beautifully landscaped garden. Our lodge was very clean, and the staff were quite helpful. Since we were heading out on a safari, the location was perfect for that. However, there are no shops within walking distance, but we were only focused on the safari anyway.

We stayed at this lodge in Yala and it was an excellent choice. The rooms are stunning, spacious, impeccably clean, and well-designed, making them ideal for unwinding after a long day. It's an excellent spot for those planning a safari due to its fantastic location and seamless organization. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed; the staff are exceptionally kind, attentive, and always eager to assist with anything we needed. A significant advantage was their arrangement of a tuk tuk for us to get to Ella, which made everything easy and stress-free. The food was a standout feature—delicious, well-prepared, and bursting with flavor. We highly recommend this place in every aspect, and we would definitely return without hesitation!

The room was quiet, tidy, and very comfortable, perfect for unwinding after long days of activities. It's clear that they care about maintaining the space. One aspect I really valued was how seamlessly everything was managed. The staff assisted us with organizing our transfers, which saved us time and simplified our plans. The food was another highlight. Overall, it was a straightforward, genuinely pleasant experience with friendly people and excellent service. I would absolutely recommend it.

We had a pleasant experience at Safari Lodge Yala, despite some clear flaws. The lodge's ambiance was stunning, and we want to give a special mention to the two staff members who managed the place with genuine warmth and commitment. Even though we were the only guests there, they made an effort to ensure we felt at home and were consistently friendly and helpful. The safari tour arranged by the lodge was a standout moment. It was exceptionally well-organized, featured a fantastic guide, and was reasonably priced. This adventure truly enhanced our stay and positively impacted our overall impression. On the downside, the rooms fell short of expectations. In our first room, we encountered cockroaches, a bar of soap that appeared to have been gnawed on by rats, and the bed linens seemed unclean. After we raised these issues, the staff promptly found us a different room late that night, which we appreciated. This new room was somewhat better, although the sheets weren't entirely clean either. Because of this, we would rate the rooms around 2 out of 5 stars. Even with the incredible safari, the welcoming service, and the charming atmosphere, we settled on a 3 out of 5 stars overall. Our rating may have been higher if we had visited during peak season. We traveled in June, during the off-season, and often found ourselves as the only guests in the lodge. While this offered a unique sense of peace, it also felt odd to be alone in a venue meant for many. For those visiting Yala primarily for the safari and who don't have high expectations for accommodation, this place can still provide a satisfying experience.
