I would describe the hotel as just average. My room lacked proper cleaning, showing surface stains and marks. The bathroom had a stale urine odor, and the overflow in the wash basin was quite dirty. The restaurant staff tried their best, and the pool attendant was very helpful. With better cleaning, the hotel could truly shine.

I asked for towels three times but never received any. The shower had no hot water, and the air conditioning was not functioning, though there was a ceiling fan available. There were many flies in the room, and outside, I encountered insects and frogs. The food was hit or miss; it wasn't served hot. Overall, the place really needs a major upgrade.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated, and the pool area is fantastic, complete with underwater music! The breakfast was excellent—definitely the best omelettes I've had in Sri Lanka—and there was a wide variety of options for dinner. The hotel even organized an extra dawn safari for us. I would absolutely stay here again.
