Clean rooms and upcoming food service

We recently spent a day at this lovely location. The rooms were spotless. Although they don't offer food yet, they plan to start serving meals soon once the kitchen is finished.

Great stay at Flying Peacock

Wonderful Stay at Flying Peacock Yala

I had a fantastic experience at Flying Peacock Yala! The rooms were spotlessly clean, very well-kept, and quite comfortable, which made for a relaxing stay. The service was exceptional, with friendly and attentive staff who really went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. The location is ideal, being close to Yala National Park and Katharagama town, making it perfect for nature lovers and safari fans. Plus, the food was amazing, featuring fresh and flavorful dishes that really enhanced my overall experience. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Katharagama and can't wait for my next trip!

Disappointing stay for the cost

Not worth the price. The service was terrible; when we requested hot water, they told us they couldn’t provide any and didn’t even have a kettle or cups available. Additionally, there were no bed sheets or towels. The room was the worst for what we paid. 😩🤮

Charming spot near town center

This is a tidy and delightful establishment, conveniently located close to the town center and key attractions. The host was extremely friendly and accommodating, even though we only visited for the day and weren’t staying overnight.

Basic amenities missing

The room was clean, but as a hotel or motel, it lacked essential amenities. There were no bed sheets, no hot water, and no electric kettle, which made it difficult to find hot water for drinking.
