Great location but cleaning issues
The hotel is conveniently located near the beach and various restaurants. Breakfast was abundant. However, our 4-day stay left us quite dissatisfied as our room was never cleaned throughout our time there. Additionally, the bathroom lacked any furniture or storage options.

Terrible experience due to owner
Suresh, the owner, completely ruined our trip. We had booked two connected rooms for two nights and had confirmed this with him beforehand. Instead, he attempted to force us into a so-called 'complimentary upgrade' to a villa located 1.5 km away from the beach. Our main reason for choosing this property was its proximity to the beach and nearby restaurants, so this so-called upgrade defeated that purpose entirely. The condition of the villa was absolutely appalling — there were dead cockroaches everywhere, broken bulbs, no AC remote, filthy bathrooms without hot water, and water tanks being filled while we were there. It felt like an abandoned property they hastily tried to prepare. When we rejected this ridiculous upgrade and requested the rooms we had originally booked, he rudely informed us that they were unavailable and pressured us to stay in that uninhabitable place. Due to his dishonesty and negligence, we found ourselves stranded on Christmas Eve, wasting hours moving from hotel to hotel, and forced to pay exorbitant prices during peak holiday season just to salvage our trip. This was more than just poor service; it was outright deceit. Suresh's actions were manipulative, irresponsible, and disgraceful. I strongly recommend avoiding this property if you want to protect your holiday. Imagine traveling to a new country with your family, including elderly parents, only to be left stranded and scrambling from hotel to hotel. That's what this man put us through. Stay away from this property at all costs if you want to avoid a ruined vacation.

I absolutely adored this seafood café in Bentota! The dishes were remarkably fresh, bursting with flavor, and expertly prepared — just what you’d expect from a beachside venue. Each meal showcased excellent quality and genuine coastal flavors. What truly enhanced our visit was Asala. He was friendly, attentive, and ensured everything was flawless from beginning to end. His hospitality brought a personal touch that made us feel truly welcomed. The highlight? The beach is only a 2-minute stroll away, making it an ideal spot to savor a laid-back meal before heading to the shore. Excellent food, superb service, and a fantastic location. I highly recommend it if you’re in Bentota! 🌊🍤
