Charming location with a warm family atmosphere, right by the riverbank and surrounded by nature. We enjoyed our time lounging by the pool while taking in the sunset. A variety of wildlife came to visit, including stunning birds, bats, squirrels, and large water monitors. It truly surpassed our expectations!

Having traveled extensively, I can confidently say Logoon Bentota ranks high on my list. It's rare to feel so at home, with the entire resort treating you like family. We ordered the seafood platter, which was incredibly fresh. We couldn’t finish it all, and they graciously allowed us to split it into two dinners. The room was very clean and spacious. Most importantly, as tourists, it’s nice not to be bombarded with upselling, which was not an issue during our stay.

The atmosphere is serene and tranquil, making it a great place to unwind. The rooms are roomy and cozy, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating. Breakfast offers a good selection of items and is quite delicious. We had a wonderful time during our stay.

We had a wonderful time at Lagoon Bentota, which boasts an incredible location by the river and a wealth of wildlife nearby. The lagoon safari was a highlight, where we spotted crocodiles, bats, chameleons, snakes, various birds, and an abundance of plants and fruit. Our rooms were spacious and well-appointed, and the balcony offered a perfect spot to relax. The food was exceptional, especially breakfast, which is so large you won’t want to plan for lunch afterwards. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the pool was clean and refreshing with a stunning view. I would highly recommend it to everyone!

A fantastic experience - completely away from the usual tourist spots, featuring a beautiful pool area and tidy rooms. River safaris are just a few minutes away, as well as some delightful beachside eateries. Highly recommend!

My wife and I had a fantastic experience at Lagoon Bentota, making it one of our best vacations, largely due to the incredible team at the hotel who took such good care of us. The breakfast was amazing, and we enjoyed being driven around in a tuk-tuk. They guided us to many places, with the highlight being our boat safari trip. This hotel is perfect for nature lovers, offering an experience you won’t find in typical tourist spots. I highly recommend staying here if you appreciate nature! The location is just a short tuk-tuk ride away from lovely places like the beach, local shops, Lunuganga, temples, and excellent seafood restaurants. The staff, including Himalsha, Nimal, Asanka, and Rash, were exceptionally kind, providing first-class service. We look forward to returning and bringing our whole family next time!

This was our favorite place to stay during our entire trip to Sri Lanka! The location is ideal, situated away from the busy town and right along the river. The rooms are spacious and clean; the family that built the place has done a beautiful job. The pool is well-kept and offers a fantastic view. The breakfast included was excellent, with plenty of options. There's an abundance of wildlife; we spotted a family of water monitors nearly every morning, and the family truly respects and cares for them. We also went on a private river safari just for the two of us, where we encountered a lot of wildlife, including crocodiles and monkeys, and the experience was very respectful towards the animals. The family is incredibly caring, showing a deep love for the place and a desire for guests to feel at home. We enjoyed getting to know them and are very thankful for everything. Thank you!
