Great for many, but some drawbacks

This place is ideal for individuals, couples, groups, and families, but I wouldn’t recommend it for those with small children due to the staircases inside that lack security rails. Additionally, the water pressure in the bathrooms and toilets is quite low. In the family room's restroom, the sanitary washer is oddly short, requiring a strong pull, which feels quite unusual. The staff could enhance their professionalism when it comes to hospitality. For instance, I found myself repeatedly asking for hand wipes after meals, and they only provided one or two at a time, which felt insufficient. The checkout process was less than stellar as well; we were kept waiting for several minutes because they were searching for a "missing towel" from a room that was never available during check-in. It felt like a nightmare. On a positive note, I want to highlight the reception staff member, who was genuinely professional and attentive. Kudos to her!

Pleasant Stay at Supreme Villa

I recently spent some time at Supreme Villa in Dambulla and had a generally enjoyable experience. The villa is conveniently located just 400 meters from Dambulla Town, which was a big plus. The amenities available, such as a pool, restaurant, and bar, enhanced my stay. However, it's important to mention that they do charge a corkage fee for certain services. The air-conditioned rooms with attached bathrooms were comfortable and offered a good level of privacy. The rates were reasonable, making it an affordable choice for travelers. A noteworthy feature is the option to book the whole villa, perfect for larger groups or families seeking exclusive accommodations. Although the staff provided outstanding hospitality and made my stay enjoyable, I did observe some minor cleanliness issues. For example, the sofa by the pool could have been cleaner, and these small details can impact overall customer satisfaction. Even with the cleanliness concerns, the fantastic hospitality from the staff more than compensated for it. Their attentive service and friendly attitude really enhanced the overall experience.

Friendly staff makes up for room

It was my first visit to this villa. After looking at all the rooms, I opted for room 101, but it didn't quite impress me. However, I had a positive experience with a room attendant named Kavinda. His friendly and engaging demeanor certainly made up for my disappointment with the room. Thanks to the staff for their hospitality.

Great family outing with stunning views

We visited as a family for a weekend day outing package. The food and service were quite good, with very attentive staff. The views were simply amazing. There's plenty of parking across the road, right in front of the hotel. The family room in the hotel was very clean and wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel.

Pleasant stay with great service

We spent one day at this location and had a truly enjoyable experience. It's conveniently situated near the main road and the bus station, yet it maintains a calm and peaceful atmosphere. The hospitality provided by the service staff was exceptional, both during and after our stay. Plus, the breakfast was quite good too.

Beautiful place but many issues

Firstly, I must mention that the venue is stunning. However, there are numerous problems that make it hard to recommend. 1. Upon checking in, the man at the front desk wearing glasses seemed unwelcoming and had a poor attitude. 2. Our family room was pleasant, but we had to share a bathroom with a frog. 3. They didn’t even provide us with a bottle of water. 4. On the bright side, they did offer us a welcome drink, and the staff member who delivered it chatted with us for a bit. 5. Unfortunately, the pool was completely filthy. We chose this place mainly for the pool, but we would have regretted going for a swim. 6. Breakfast was served in the morning, but we had to search for our own spoons since they didn’t supply any.

Reservation Cancelled on Check-In Day

We booked this hotel over a month ago for a 3-night stay and paid in full. However, on the day of check-in while we were en route to Dambulla, I received a message from Expedia stating that the hotel had cancelled our reservation and could not accommodate us. It's really disappointing. This feels like a very unprofessional and irresponsible move, making this hotel seem unreliable and not worth considering.

Great staff but some issues

The staff at Supreme Dambulla are extremely friendly, and the food is fantastic! Unfortunately, we were disturbed multiple times by the dogs, even after we brought it up with the reception. The pool could use some cleaning, and our room was swarming with mosquitoes because of a broken window. I suggest trying the Sri Lankan breakfast instead of the British one. The location is excellent!

Mixed experience with accommodations

We showed up in the evening and were not offered a welcome drink. The first room had ants crawling up the wall. The staff arranged another room for us, but it had a strong sewage odor. Since it was getting late and dark, we decided to accept the new room. However, the next morning, we discovered that the bed was crawling with bugs.
