Magical stay with warm hospitality
Our experience was truly enchanting! From the moment we arrived, we felt a remarkable warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. We were greeted with a traditional oil lamp lighting, fresh flowers, and a lovely welcome drink that set a delightful tone for our stay. The villa was beautifully adorned with flower arrangements, impeccably clean, and extremely comfy. Strolling around the property felt like entering a natural paradise, with clearly labelled plants and trees, and the charm of wild creatures like peacocks and giant squirrels. The pool offered a peaceful retreat, and sipping a fresh cup of tea by the water was a treat. The highlight of our visit was the enchanting candle-lit dinner by the pool, where oil lamps provided a warm glow. The food was fantastic, and the surprise birthday cake from the staff made the night truly memorable. Breakfast the following morning was a feast, featuring fresh, homegrown fruits and vegetables that enhanced the flavor of every dish. It was hard to say goodbye, and our only regret was not being able to extend our stay. A big thank you to the amazing team, including security, reception, housekeeping, kitchen, and especially Mr. Dinesh, the Resident Manager, who went the extra mile to make our experience special. If you seek a place that combines luxury with nature and creates lasting memories, this is the spot. We eagerly look forward to our return!

You truly feel immersed in the jungle with the sounds of birds, monkeys, and squirrels all around. This restaurant offers top-notch local cuisine and the staff is exceptionally friendly. While the swimming pool could use a bit more care, it's still a wonderful spot to relax for a couple of days.

Pleasant stay at Dambulla resort
We visited Dambulla in Sri Lanka as part of an IRCTC tour and stayed for two nights. The resort is conveniently located close to the main road, surrounded by beautiful scenery with trees, bushes, and colorful flowers, providing a spacious environment. We had an independent cottage featuring two beds, clean bedsheets and towels, toiletries, and an electric kettle. The cottage has iron plate doors and is insulated with cloth inside to manage heat and cold. The rooms are quite roomy, with attached bathrooms and low-power lighting available. The swimming pool is centrally located, surrounded by more than 25 cottages. The dining hall offers a variety of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, though it didn't cater to our South Indian palate, so we opted for salads, fruits, breads, and ice cream. The staff were cooperative, and the front desk was quite responsive, making it a calm place to stay. However, we faced issues with Wi-Fi, as it wasn't functioning, and telephone connections were poor, resulting in minimal internet signal.
