We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. It’s such a great deal for the price. The rooms are clean and spacious, equipped with effective air conditioning. The large pool is wonderful, and the staff are very friendly. Breakfast was substantial and included vegan choices :) thank you!

We spent two days here and found the staff to be incredibly kind and welcoming. The breakfast was the best I've had during my time in Sri Lanka. At the conclusion of our stay, the hotel's owner kindly drove us to the bus stop, which we really appreciated. He was a genuinely nice person.

The swimming pool really enhanced our experience at this hotel. After a day of exploring, it was refreshing to take a dip and cool down. They even provided pool towels. The hotel itself was quite nice, featuring a spacious and clean room equipped with coffee and tea making facilities. Upon arrival, we found a large complimentary bottle of water, and they provided us with another one as well. Amenities included small bottles of shampoo and conditioner along with a bar of soap. The shower was hot and functioned well, but there wasn't a separate cubicle, so the entire bathroom ended up wet. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located for accessing the town, and it's about a one and a half kilometer walk to the Golden Temple. I recommend checking out Manj Restaurant & Bar for a beer and dinner, as everything is freshly prepared and very reasonably priced. Their fries and curry leaves make for a delicious snack with a beer. A lot of showers in Sri Lanka, like those at the Freedom Hotel, lack a separate cubicle, which I find frustrating because I dislike walking around in a wet bathroom after a shower. Other than that, everything was great.

Incredible value for the price. The rooms are pleasant and tidy, and it's only a mile from the main road in Dambulla town. The breakfast is a true banquet—more food than anyone could possibly finish. We had a great time during our stay.

We spent two nights in a cozy room equipped with air conditioning and a fridge. The pool was well-maintained, the gardens looked nice, and the staff were very attentive. While we opted to dine out for dinner, the sandwiches we had were tasty, and the staff promptly provided us with bottled water, extra tea, and cold beer. The room and bedding were clean, but a bit more focus on the bathroom would have led to an extra star. Sadly, the noise from the guests next door was quite noticeable through the walls. The hotel returned two loads of clean laundry to us within a day and offered an excellent dinner recommendation since their kitchen was closed for a holiday. The location is excellent, just a short walk from local shops and a quick drive to a supermarket and various restaurants.

Our experience at this resort was truly delightful. Located just a short distance from Sigiriya, it’s ideal for those looking to steer clear of the crowds around the historical site. Nestled amidst rice fields and nature, the resort allows you to wake up to the sounds of birds rather than the hustle of a busy town. I want to express my gratitude to the owner for his generosity. After returning from our trip feeling completely drained, he not only stored our luggage at the reception all day but also permitted us to unwind by the pool, where we took a brief rest before heading out for our next adventure. We wholeheartedly recommend this resort — it’s a serene getaway and a lovely place to stay.

The hospitality at this hotel exceeded our expectations. A special shout-out to Manushan, who assisted us with everything from transportation arrangements to various activities we requested, making our experience completely stress-free. Plus, everything was affordable with reasonable prices. The hotel itself was pleasant and secluded, and we truly enjoyed our stay here. We would definitely recommend this hotel!

The staff here are incredibly helpful and friendly. The owner even gave me complimentary rides to various places, and the main concierge was quick to accommodate any request, regardless of size. The pool and rooms are beautifully clean, although the rooms have aged a bit since the photos—still, it didn't detract from my experience. Breakfast was fantastic, and the location is perfect, right in the heart of Dambula and surrounded by lovely rice fields. I'd definitely return.

We had a lovely time at the hotel, enjoying a spacious room that overlooked the pool. The owner was extremely kind and went out of his way to assist us by driving us to the bus station when we were leaving. Additionally, the hotel offers bicycles for guests to use, which is a nice touch.

We had a lovely two-night stay here. The landscaping is delightful, filled with trees and greenery. Our room was spacious and comfortable, equipped with mosquito nets, tea and coffee supplies, and Wi-Fi access. Sanjeevani and her team prepared the most delicious breakfasts for us.
