Charming Stay with Great Breakfast

After spending three weeks exploring Sri Lanka, I found Sea Pink Residence to be one of my favorite places to stay. This family-run hotel offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and clean, equipped with air conditioning. My daily highlight was the delicious Sri Lankan breakfast, which was freshly prepared and varied each day. It was fantastic! There's plenty to explore in and around Bentota, and they assist you in planning activities and knowing the best spots. Special thanks to Vish for his help! The beach is just a few minutes' walk away. In summary, I highly recommend Sea Pink Residence for anyone seeking a cozy and inviting stay, combined with excellent service and genuine local charm.

Great Stay in Bentota

If you're in Bentota, this is an excellent option. Saduni and her husband were both welcoming and accommodating. The rooms were peaceful (though the railway line is nearby, it didn’t bother us) as well as clean and safe. It's just a short stroll to the main beach and the train station. Breakfast was diverse and abundant - definitely give the Sri Lankan breakfasts a try. Fantastic value for the price. We would definitely return. Martin and Sheila

Friendly service and great breakfast

The staff here is incredibly friendly. Breakfast was fantastic, featuring fresh fruits straight from the garden. The rooms were spacious, and the beds were quite comfortable. Plus, the location is ideal, just a short stroll to restaurants and the beach.

Wonderful stay at Sea Pink Residence

We had a delightful experience at Sea Pink Residence. The hosts were incredibly kind and attentive, always checking in to see if we needed anything. Breakfast was outstanding, and our room was both spacious and impeccably clean. It truly felt like home. The hosts were also helpful in organizing and suggesting local trips. Charming stay with delightful breakfast

We truly enjoyed our time here. The lovely family running the place takes great care of your belongings and are always ready to help. Our room and the bathroom were spacious, clean, and modern, which made our stay very pleasant. The breakfast was a treat, featuring typical Sri Lankan dishes that we absolutely loved. The beautiful beach is just a short walk away. The only downside was the train noise, but honestly, I ended up appreciating the sound as it feels like a part of Bentota. The train is simply everywhere. 😄

The only greeting I received was over the phone, and the only information provided was the WiFi code from booking.com. Rooms weren't cleaned unless requested, so I had to make one bottle of water last for three days. I also had to prop the electric key with sugar sachets to keep it functioning. There were only two sugar sachets available...

Memorable Stay with Exceptional Hospitality

Our first trip to Sri Lanka couldn't have been better, thanks to this wonderful hotel. Its ideal location just steps from the ocean and a clean, expansive beach was a true blessing, allowing us to swim and relax on the sand while taking in stunning sunsets. The room was roomy, tidy, and equipped with air conditioning, providing all we needed for a comfortable stay in the heat. The cleaning was punctual, and the room always appeared spotless. The standout feature of our visit was the amazing hospitality from the hotel owners. They were not only friendly and attentive but also genuinely warm and kind. From day one, they made us feel at home, always ready to help with a smile and offer useful recommendations. Their personal touch significantly enhanced our experience, and we appreciated their help in arranging excursions around the island at very reasonable prices. Breakfasts were absolutely delightful, clearly made with care and love, leaving us feeling energized and prepared for our adventures. The owners truly went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and their attention to detail was impressive. The surrounding area is fantastic, with numerous cafes and restaurants serving local dishes as well as more familiar options. The tranquil atmosphere, coupled with the owners' warmth and care, created a perfect sanctuary for relaxation, enjoying nature, and escaping the hustle of bigger cities. We are incredibly pleased with our stay and deeply thankful to the owners for making it so unforgettable. If we return to Sri Lanka, we'll undoubtedly choose this hotel again! Thank you for making our vacation so special!

Spacious Room with Some Drawbacks

The room was beautiful, spacious, clean, and air-conditioned, equipped with all the necessary amenities. It's conveniently located about a 5-minute walk from the beach and various restaurants, which is great. However, I had some issues. There was a significant gap between the door and the frame (see attached photos), which likely allowed a lot of mosquitoes inside. I also prefer thicker curtains than what was provided. Additionally, the property was undergoing construction during my stay, and it was incredibly noisy. I checked in around 3 PM, and the noise persisted until 5 PM. The next day, it started again around noon. With such disruptive noise, it might have been better to close the facility to tourists during the work.
