    Fantastic hotel experience

    Our stay at this hotel was wonderful. The rooms were immaculate, extremely comfortable, and kept in great shape during our time there. The food was top-notch, offering a wide selection and high quality.

    It is a good basic hotel. Airconditioning worked well, internet was good. Western breakfasts were ok, no more.

    Clean Rooms, Disappointing Food

    We arranged half board for 80 guests. The rooms were tidy and roomy. However, the food provided for the half board was quite poor. There were limited choices and it lacked flavor. The sambar was especially watery.

    Excellent Stay at Hotel Oviya

    I highly recommend Hotel Oviya! I stayed here twice during my time in the area, and both experiences were outstanding. The rooms are clean and roomy, and the service from the attentive staff was exceptional. I couldn’t have asked for a better stay—make sure to book here if you have the opportunity.

    Nice stay with minor issues

    This is a solid place to stay, offering decent amenities. I was on the third floor, where I experienced a few power outages that left me in the dark. However, I really liked the bathroom, especially the power shower, and appreciated the spacious foyer area.

    The hotel is located right in the heart of town. Our room was quite large and clean. While the air conditioning was somewhat loud and the remote stopped showing settings, it still cooled the room sufficiently. The restaurant staff provided good service…

    We had an amazing experience at Oviya. The staff were fantastic, and our rooms were spotless. Everything in the room functioned perfectly. The food at the downstairs restaurant was just as impressive. My husband and I visited during our stay in Sri Lanka.

    Mixed experience with staff and food

    The manager's attitude was really terrible. However, I must give a huge shout out to Mercy at the reception; she truly saved the day for the hotel. Unfortunately, the international breakfast was quite disappointing. I stayed here with some foreign friends, and I honestly felt embarrassed by it.
