Great location with ocean views
The rooms might be a bit small, but they're ideal for a layover in Colombo. The location is fantastic, and the balcony offers wonderful views of the ocean.

Mixed experience at the city lodge
The accommodations were in poor condition, and the staff frequently responded with a simple 'yes' without truly grasping my requests. Additionally, the noise levels in the rooms were bothersome, giving the place more of a love hotel vibe than that of a city lodge.

The sheets weren't clean, and the floor felt sticky. I noticed stains on the bedsheets. There was no kettle for hot water in the room, which meant I had to go to the reception to get it. The condensation from the A/C was also an issue.

Comfortable stay with friendly service
This is a charming spot. The staff is quite welcoming, and the check-in and check-out process is simple. The room comes with water, the air conditioning works well, and the balconies are roomy. Plus, the bed is extremely comfortable.

Solid stay with some drawbacks
This place is really nice, with excellent staff and pretty good accommodations! For the price, I believe it’s the best option available. They also offer currency exchange. However, I found it frustrating that there were many people outside, making the area quite noisy, even in our room! Additionally, the bed linens seemed worn out, and there was no hot water during our stay.
