Loud party ruined our stay

We had a disappointing experience. Other guests were playing loud music and partying in the common area late into the night, and the staff allowed it. Even after we complained to them three times, the noise continued, which made it hard for us to get any sleep. The walls were extremely thin, and there were significant gaps between the roof and walls, letting in plenty of ants and other bugs. While the staff's English was lacking, the breakfast was decent.

Mixed feelings about our stay

On the night of May 9th, we booked two half board family rooms. Unfortunately, the bathroom and the shared bathroom in our room were not clean. However, the two staff members we encountered were very friendly. The person who seemed to be in charge was less attentive, as we had to ask for even the smallest welcome drink. Given our experience, I wouldn't recommend this place to others, although the location was good.

Disappointing stay for group of seven

Our group of seven stayed for one night and booked two rooms, but it turned out to be a letdown. The cleanliness of the rooms was lacking, and they felt dirty upon arrival. Each room had just one 500ml water bottle, which was insufficient for the number of guests, and there weren't enough towels either. The food choices were quite sparse; for dinner, we could only order fried rice and noodles, with dessert being a small scoop of ice cream. Breakfast was also underwhelming, offering only some fruit as dessert. We also noticed there was no tea setup in the rooms, and despite requesting it, the service didn’t meet our expectations. The staff didn’t come across as friendly or professional, which further contributed to our dissatisfaction with the service. Given the price we paid, the experience didn't feel like it was worth it. We really hope the hotel can improve its cleanliness, service, and offerings moving forward.

Good food, service needs improvement

The location is nice, but you have to climb 70-80 steel stairs from the car park. For dinner, even with a half board package, the choices are limited to chicken fried rice and noodles, and dessert is just ice cream. We received two 500 ml water bottles for seven people and only two towels at first. After we mentioned this, they did provide more towels and drinking water. The view by the swimming pool is pleasant. The staff is friendly, but they lack professionalism, and the washroom was not clean. Breakfast was decent, and the overall food quality and portions were good. If the owners focus on enhancing service quality, this could become a great hotel in the future.

Lovely stay with great views

We had a fantastic time at Ella Deck! The rooms were cozy and provided stunning views. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, always eager to assist. The food was fresh, tasty, and artfully presented. The serene atmosphere made it an ideal spot to relax and unwind. Wonderful stay with stunning views

We had a fantastic experience at Ella Deck Resort. The location boasts breathtaking views and a tranquil ambiance, making it an ideal spot to unwind and appreciate the beauty of Ella. The rooms were tidy, cozy, and well-kept. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always willing to assist with a smile. Their hospitality truly enhanced our stay.
