If you enjoy mediocre and overpriced coffee and milkshakes, this place is for you. It appears that the customers here are unaware of better options. Barista has really lost its appeal. Even their signature drinks aren't worth the money anymore.

On a rainy evening in Sri Lanka, I visited this Barista branch with a friend. Despite the gloomy weather, Rilwan and Damesh greeted us with genuine warmth, which matched the inviting atmosphere inside. I was really impressed by the interior design while enjoying the chocolate cake—it's among the best I've had, rivaling any five-star hotel. The hot chocolate, salmon croissant, and cappuccino were all excellent as well. It's a fantastic spot to unwind, work, or catch up with friends, all while savoring delicious food and coffee.

I really enjoy the Mount Lavinia Barista; the staff are friendly and your order is ready in no time. Thanks to my wife, I also appreciate the calm atmosphere for working. You should definitely try their croissants, brownie cheesecake, and Spanish latte!

The staff here are fantastic and super friendly. It's a great spot to relax with friends or family. This coffee shop in the center of Mt. Lavinia is also suitable for working. I highly recommend trying all their dishes and coffee.

I had a really frustrating experience here. I've never encountered a place that can't simply leave out tomatoes from a sandwich. It's not rocket science—just don’t add it, right? The staff member I dealt with was incredibly rude and unhelpful. It seems like a special type of service for foreigners, honestly. What makes it even more ironic is the sign on the wall encouraging customers to inform the staff about any dietary needs before ordering. I did just that, but she completely ignored my request. If you have allergies or any dietary restrictions, I wouldn't recommend this place, as they won't accommodate your needs. They really need to improve their staff.

The ambiance here is pleasant, and there's a good amount of seating available. I noticed some people working as well. We sampled their Sweet Tornados and the new Garlic Bread with Cheese, both of which were quite enjoyable. The Double Chocolate Frappe had actual chocolate pieces in it, and the Barista Cookie Frappe was nice too. However, I wasn't a fan of the cookie on top, but that's not a big deal. The Garlic Bread is a great addition, especially with cheese; I preferred it without the sauce though. Plus, you can sign up as a loyalty member to get 10% off your bill when you dine in, which helps you avoid the service charge. Prices are in the average to high range, but I found the coffee and Sweet Tornados to be priced lower than many other coffee shops I've visited recently. I recommend this place if you're looking for a nice spot to enjoy good food and coffee or to get some work done.

I could concentrate on my personal work without any interruptions, thanks to the peaceful and cozy setting.
