The food and drinks are excellent ❤️. It features a unique concept with various segments, making it ideal for family, office, and friends' get-togethers. Plus, there's a large parking area right in front of the cafe.

The idea is entertaining and the food is tasty with generous portions. However, the outdoor play area isn't really suitable for the cars, as even those that can navigate the ramps end up tumbling when driven down. One aspect that disappointed me was the lack of clarity regarding the pricing for playtime, which is why I rated service only 3 stars. They charge you for an hour of car usage, even if you just touch a remote for 5 minutes, and this information isn't clearly displayed anywhere (at least I didn't see it). As a result, we ended up spending nearly as much on playtime as we did on food, and we were only there for about an hour, including our meal.

I had a fantastic time at Sandpit Cafe Mount Lavinia! The cafe features a fun and unique concept with its sandpit and mini construction area, creating a relaxing environment that's truly enjoyable. The food was delicious, and the iced coffee was especially refreshing. The vibe is calm and different from typical cafes, making it an ideal spot to unwind and hang out. The staff were friendly and provided good service. All in all, it's a wonderful place to visit with friends or family. I highly recommend it!

This is a lovely and peaceful place to meet up with friends. Some might find the menu prices a bit high. The ambiance is quite pleasant, and the play area is also enjoyable. They charge by the hour for playtime, and I’ve included the fee for all vehicles in the photo. The food is tasty, and I particularly enjoyed the mushroom burger. However, it would be great to see more vegetarian options on the menu. My friends had the fried rice and thought it was really good—definitely worth trying.

I recently checked out Sandpit Cafe in Mount Lavinia, and I have to say, this place is really impressive. The whole experience is what makes it stand out. With its construction-themed concept, you can actually play around with mini excavators, jeeps, and other machinery, which adds a lot of fun and sets it apart from typical cafes in the area. The atmosphere is serene and visually appealing, featuring a great indoor and outdoor arrangement that fosters a relaxed and enjoyable environment. It’s an excellent choice whether you’re on a date, hanging out with friends, or even bringing kids for a fun outing. That being said, the food is decent but not the main draw here. We had the loaded chicken fries, and personally, I found them a bit salty. Overall, the food is good but not something I would specifically come for. On the other hand, the staff really enhance the experience; they were incredibly friendly and attentive, especially when we encountered some issues in the play area, and they dealt with everything patiently. Parking can be somewhat challenging depending on the time of day, but it’s doable. Additionally, I confirmed with the staff that the food is halal. In summary, this is a place you go for the unique experience, ambiance, and concept rather than just the food, and I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

Had a truly unique and enjoyable time with the remote control trucks and sandpit activities. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food was fantastic. I highly recommend this place and will definitely come back again.
