I just spent some time at the Amari Colombo and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful—it's modern, spotless, and situated perfectly with amazing ocean views. The rooftop space and dining selections are excellent, contributing to a delightful stay.

The rooms are both clean and beautifully designed. On the downside, the service is fairly slow; I had to request water three times over the course of four hours before it was finally delivered to my room. While there were plenty of staff members on the ground floor, they didn’t seem to be very active.
