Our tuk-tuk driver suggested this Ayurvedic massage, likely for the commission he earns. A full-body massage is priced at 8000 LKR. My wife found the massage to be decent, while I felt it was just average. There are certainly better alternatives available.

Our tour guide took my group to this place for body massages. However, they don't display any pricing for their services. The receptionist informed us that they only provide body massages, with a basic rate of 9,000 LKR per person. Previous reviewers might find some comfort in this, as we felt we were overcharged even more. The massage itself was just okay; the masseuse did a satisfactory job. However, the room was not air-conditioned and had only one fan. Since it was my first ayurvedic massage, I was taken aback when the masseuse began pouring oil over my head at the beginning. I’m unsure what kind of oil it was, but it reminded me of olive oil. My friend mentioned he could smell curry or spices from his masseur's hands during his session. Overall, we felt more like we were being marinated than pampered. I recommend steering clear of this place, as it seems to be a tourist trap that charges high prices for subpar service.

I was eager to try a traditional massage, but I wanted to avoid the places frequented by Arab tourists. So, I picked this spot. I arrived thirty minutes before closing, yet they greeted me warmly and extended their hours for me. The establishment is straightforward, neat, and clean. A one-hour massage costs 8000 rupees (around 97 riyals). My therapist, Susandi (who is pictured), provided an outstanding session. Her massage technique is incredibly caring and skilled; it felt like I'd never experienced a massage before. I highly recommend her; it’s truly a memorable experience. Thank you, Susandi! ♥️ She started with a coconut oil head massage, then worked on my entire body using sesame oil, concentrating on the areas I had mentioned were sore. She even asked if I’d like to shower afterward, which I found very considerate to avoid the oil sticking to me. They supplied shampoo, soap, warm water, and a towel (though it's advisable to bring your own). *A few things to note*: Some aspects might influence the experience for certain individuals. This place is more therapeutic than indulgent, so keep that in mind. - You have to take off your shoes to enter the spa, which is great for cleanliness, but I wish they offered spa slippers instead of having us walk barefoot. - The sheets on the massage bed and the blankets used are not disposable, which might differ from what some are used to. - The oil has no distinct fragrance. - If you opt to shower after the massage, the enclosure has just a curtain and no door.
