The service here was the worst I've ever encountered. On a busy day at Food City in Battaramulla, there was only one counter open. To make matters worse, the entire outlet had just one large trolley, and two of its wheels were broken, making it a struggle to pull it around.

A great pick for me! This place offers the most incredible viewpoint room in Ella, Sri Lanka. The service was also excellent, and the view is truly amazing.

I had a disappointing experience today while shopping. I went to the cashier and waited around 5 to 10 minutes for my bill. The cashier, whose name I think was Maneeksha or Meenakshi, had a bad attitude and seemed to struggle with customer service. She asked me for a 5 rupee change, which I didn't have, and then suggested I pay for an extra plastic bag, even though I only had 3 or 4 items. When I said I didn’t need another bag, she told me she didn’t have change. I just told her to keep it, and she responded with an attitude. I ended up informing the security staff about the situation. I hope management takes action and provides proper training on how to handle customers. I left feeling embarrassed, as if I was shopping without money like a beggar. This isn’t acceptable; I urge higher management to address this issue.

Cargills Food City in Battaramulla has been our go-to place for weekly groceries long before Keells opened nearby. Together with Arpico, it has always been our trusted destination for all our needs. Even though it's smaller than the newer Cargills locations, it consistently stocks all the essentials we require. They've recently introduced a liquor section, which adds a nice touch of convenience. The staff is truly friendly and welcoming. Since we shop here regularly, they always keep us informed about the best deals and offers. It's dependable, familiar, and efficient. A definite five-star experience!

I had a wonderful experience shopping at Cargills Food City in Battaramulla. The store is impressively clean, well-organized, and meticulously maintained, making grocery shopping quite enjoyable. The staff were courteous, friendly, and offered great service at the counters. One of the best features of this location is the ample parking space, so you won't have to stress about finding a spot for your car. I highly recommend this place!
