A Shopping Mall Experience

Arpico Super is so expansive that it feels like a shopping mall. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Occasionally, they seem a bit short-staffed at certain times of the year, but currently, they're doing a fantastic job. There’s a wide range of products available, though they may not always offer the best quality or prices. The parking lot is quite large, but it tends to fill up quickly. I have to admit, whenever I shop here, I often use it as a walking path with air conditioning, making the most of my steps! 😁

Consistent Excellence at Arpico Supercentre

I rated this location 5 stars about seven years ago, and it's great to see they still meet such high standards to earn another 5-star rating today. Their consistent service and maintenance over the years is truly impressive. Our recent trip to Arpico Supercentre in Battaramulla was an enjoyable shopping experience. The store features a spacious and well-organized layout, making it easy to locate everything you need in one place. From groceries and fresh produce to household necessities, the variety available caters to most shopping needs in a single stop. The wide aisles and neatly organized sections contribute to a pleasant shopping atmosphere, even at peak times. Parking is another significant advantage here. With plenty of space available, shoppers can enjoy a hassle-free experience without the stress of hunting for a parking spot. The customer service also stands out—staff members are friendly, helpful, and ready to assist when required. This attention to service enhances the overall shopping experience and encourages customer loyalty. Another benefit is the extended hours, as the store stays open until 10 PM. This is particularly beneficial for those juggling work and family obligations, allowing for shopping at a more convenient time. In summary, Arpico Supercentre in Battaramulla remains an excellent option for everyday shopping. It's reassuring to know that after all these years, the quality and convenience are still top-notch.

Not as Impressive as Before

It's decent, but it doesn't compare to the Arpico we visited 15 years ago. It hasn't kept up with the times. However, you can find Arpico products that are affordable and of good quality. I remember the Arpico from back then being very modern, stocked with high-quality products, and a luxurious supermarket experience. Now, the standards seem quite low in comparison.

Disappointing product quality and service

I picked up a toilet cleaner on sale (18/08/2026) and it came with a free floor cleaner. While in the store, I only checked the expiry date of the toilet cleaner. Upon getting home, I discovered that the toilet cleaner bottle was defective and wouldn’t open. The complimentary floor cleaner was already expired (2 months and 7 days) and had a sticker covering it. Additionally, their bags are priced at Rs. 190/=. I purchased one last month and another this month, but both bags ripped and the handles snapped before I even got home. I will include all the photos with dates.

Great one-stop shop experience

Arpico Battaramulla is an excellent one-stop shopping destination. The store is tidy, roomy, and well-arranged, offering a wide range of products from groceries and fresh produce to stationery and household goods. The bakery and food sections consistently have fresh items, and parking is hassle-free. However, some staff members could benefit from additional training to enhance both efficiency and customer service.
