Accessible and Budget-Friendly Hospital

This private hospital on Thewatta Road in Ragama is easy to access and offers a variety of specialties for consultations, as well as OPD, ETU, ICU, and inpatient care. The staff members are typically helpful and professional. The facility boasts a well-equipped laboratory, a pharmacy, and modern diagnostic equipment. It's relatively affordable compared to many other private hospitals, although the quality of the inpatient rooms could use some enhancement. There’s convenient paid parking located just across the street on the opposite side of Thewatta Road.

Disappointing Experience with Dr. Perera

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Eshanth Perera and ended up waiting over two hours. When it was finally my turn, no one called me in. I had to knock on the doctor's door, and he responded by barking at me, claiming he was busy taking care of patients at the general hospital where he primarily works. It felt like he thought he was some sort of miracle worker. The hospital needs to take full responsibility for the situation I encountered. This particular doctor seems very irresponsible and greedy. If they can't monitor their doctors properly, the hospital should be boycotted.

Long Wait Times at Leesons Hospital

I arrived at Leesons Hospital today around 1:20 p.m. and received my payment receipt by 1:23 p.m. for an OPD consultation. Our appointment number was 73, but the doctor was attending to patient number 58 at that moment. Eventually, I got to see the doctor at 3:15 p.m. It seems there is only one doctor handling both the ETU and the OPD, which leads to lengthy wait times. Moreover, patients who come in just to show reports are seen before those with appointments, which feels unfair and adds to the wait. The OPD management could use some improvement. Better scheduling and dedicated arrangements for those only showing reports could help minimize delays and enhance the overall experience for everyone.

Outstanding Care at Leesons Hospital

We went to Leesons Hospital in Ragama on July 14th for a thyroid FNAC test under Dr. Shirom Siriwardene's care, and we want to express our deep appreciation for Ms. Sudarshi, the Assistant Nurse in Room No. 110 (Scanning Room). From the time we arrived, Ms. Sudarshi's warm smile and friendly nature made us feel welcomed and relaxed. Even while managing a high volume of patients, she remained calm, patient, and genuinely caring toward everyone. What stood out the most was her remarkable attentiveness. She took the time to listen, clearly answered questions, and explained procedures in a reassuring way, regardless of her busy schedule. Her kindness, professionalism, and dedication exemplify the essence of nursing and patient care. Ms. Sudarshi is a shining example of what every nurse should strive to be. Her caring approach and commitment to excellent service made our hospital experience very positive. We're also thankful to Dr. Shirom Siriwardene for his friendly and professional care. Encountering such a compassionate doctor alongside an exceptional nurse during the same visit was truly comforting. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Ms. Sudarshi and wish her all the best in her future endeavors. She is undoubtedly a great asset to Leesons Hospital, and we hope her hard work and dedication get the recognition they deserve.

Terrible Management and Service

Avoid Leasons Ragama. They don't take responsibility for your channelings and the management is the worst I've encountered. Plus, no one answers the phone, making it impossible to ask questions or file a complaint. I strongly advise against going there.
