Great value at Liyonaa Beach Hotel

I had a pleasant experience at Liyonaa Beach Hotel, which offers great value for the price. The deluxe double room was very clean, and the spacious bathroom was impressive. Enjoying the view of the beach from the balcony and watching the sunrise each morning was truly delightful. The room was nicely equipped with an effective AC, TV, and a kettle along with coffee supplies. Plus, the bathroom provided hot water, which is always appreciated. The staff were friendly and eager to help with any requests. The only slight drawbacks were that the room felt a bit small, and the stainless steel fixtures in the bathroom (like taps and shower) showed some corrosion. Nevertheless, given the overall experience and the cost, I would still recommend Liyonaa Beach Hotel for anyone looking for a budget-friendly beach stay in Trincomalee.

Great beachside stay for business trips

I've had the pleasure of staying at Liyonaa Beach Hotel in Trincomalee twice for work. The location is fantastic, offering a serene beachside vibe that makes unwinding after a long day easy. The rooms are both comfortable and tidy, and the staff typically provides friendly and helpful service. While the food choices are decent, there’s definitely some potential for enhancing both the variety and the speed of service. All in all, it’s a delightful stay and a dependable option for both business trips and leisure.

Food Quality Needs Improvement

The food quality was disappointing, particularly lacking in flavor. I brought this up with the staff, but no action was taken to address my concerns. They also mentioned that the food comes from an outside source, which could explain the quality problems. Overall, my experience fell short and requires attention from management.

Wonderful Extended Stay

We had a fantastic experience at the Liyonaa Beach Hotel. Initially, we reserved a two-night stay, but we loved it so much that we extended it to eleven nights. The manager and staff were incredibly welcoming, making us feel at home. I highly recommend this budget-friendly beachfront accommodation.

Stunning sea view room experience

What a gorgeous place! I was fortunate to stay in room 206, which has an absolutely breathtaking sea view. Mr. Majith provided excellent service; he was very helpful and patient with all our questions. The only downside was that the water heater wasn't functioning, but we didn't reach out for help at the time since we were in a hurry.

Great family getaway at Lionaa Beach

Great family stay with sea view

Great location with room for improvement

The location is fantastic, and the room is impressive as well. It offers a stunning beach view and is quite spacious, making it ideal for couples. However, there are a few areas that could use some attention. The A/C wasn't cooling effectively, and the cleanliness, especially in the washroom, wasn't up to par. Additionally, there were no coffee or tea amenities provided. When I inquired, I was told these items weren't included in the package. A few small enhancements in these areas would go a long way in the future.

Great experience by the beach

The staff were wonderful and the room was spacious. It's conveniently located right by the beach. Our driver, Kumard Tuktuk, was fantastic. We took trips to see crocodiles, a deer park, and a temple in the rocks. We recommend this place! +94 77 573 7876.

Wonderful hotel stay near the beach

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel! The place was clean, the service was great, and the location was lovely. Being so close to the beach made it perfect. I couldn't find any faults during my stay. Mr. Majith, the hotel manager, was especially kind and helpful. I highly recommend this place to everyone! 🥰🥰🥰
