The VILLA HOTEL is an ideal spot for a romantic Sky View Dinner and various gatherings or functions. Special thanks to the waitstaff, who were friendly and attentive, making the experience even better.

We held my mother’s birthday celebration at Villa Hotel last night, and it was an evening to remember! The stunning sea views really enhanced the occasion. The staff were incredibly friendly and delivered outstanding service throughout our visit. The food was tasty, featuring a wide variety at very fair prices. Everything was well-coordinated, and the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. A big thank you to the Villa Hotel team for making the night so special!

I chose this hotel for its proximity to the airport, as I was catching a flight to Colombo with Cinnamon Air. The location by the waterfront offered stunning views of the harbor, and the hotel had great curb appeal upon arrival. The on-site restaurant made it easy to enjoy a reasonably priced and delicious dinner, and the staff were friendly and incredibly helpful. They arranged a tuk tuk to the airport for me the next day, were cautious with my food due to my allergy to chili, and quickly replaced the kettle in my room when it caused a power outage. Overall, it was a good deal for the price. However, there were some downsides. The hotel lacked lifts, so navigating the steep, narrow stairs with heavy luggage would be challenging—thankfully, I only had a backpack. Additionally, I discovered there was a small temple across the street, which seemed like a nice addition to the view at first. Unfortunately, I unknowingly booked my stay during a festival, and the loud music and celebrations lasted all night! I wasn't informed about this, and the hotel had minimal soundproofing. The staff mentioned that other guests were also calling to complain about the noise and their inability to sleep. I managed to get some rest with my earplugs, but if you're planning to stay here, be sure to check with the staff about any festivals during your visit.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Villa Hotel in Trincomalee, and it was an experience I won't forget. The highlight for me was the exceptional service from the staff. Every member of the team was incredibly friendly, respectful, and eager to assist. No request felt too much for them—they were attentive, efficient, and always greeted us with a warm smile. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-kept. The food served at the restaurant was delicious and of excellent quality. Nestled in a tranquil location close to the beach, the hotel provided an ideal setting for relaxation. The warmth and professionalism displayed by the staff significantly enhanced my stay. If you're searching for a place to stay in Trincomalee, I wholeheartedly recommend the Villa Hotel. It's truly a gem with top-notch service. Highly recommended!

We visited this villa hotel in Trincomalee and had a mixed experience. The property has a lovely atmosphere that's calm and relaxing. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a peaceful stay for families and groups. The surrounding environment is serene, making it a refreshing spot for anyone looking to unwind. The restaurant is definitely one of the highlights here. The food is not only delicious but also well-prepared and served in a charming dining area. We really enjoyed our meals and appreciate the effort the kitchen staff puts into ensuring quality and taste. On the downside, the service needs considerable improvement. The staff often seemed inattentive, and there were times when we felt overlooked. Simple requests took longer than we anticipated, and there was a clear lack of coordination. With such a wonderful location and great food, enhancing customer service could elevate this place significantly. A bit more care, attention, and friendliness from the staff would greatly enhance the guest experience. In summary, this villa hotel has fantastic potential, but management should work on improving service to be on par with the quality of the rooms and food.

This was likely the best budget room I found during my three weeks traveling in Sri Lanka. The bed was good and clean, and I appreciated the white, soft towels provided. There was a kettle in the room, and the bathroom had hot water along with shampoo and shower gel.
