Relaxing Ayurveda Treatment Experience

I completed a 15-day Ayurveda treatment at Chandra Villa. It's a beautiful, tranquil place. The treatment was amazing, and I felt really at home there. I highly recommend it for anyone seeking Ayurveda treatment. I'm from Switzerland. Keep up the great work!

Great stay at Chandra Villa

We stayed at Chandra Villa, which is a Level 1 hotel for non-vaccinated tourists. It was a wonderful experience; the service was excellent and the food was tasty. I highly recommend staying at this hotel. The staff also assisted us in purchasing fruits and seafood, as well as exchanging money in Bentota. They helped with transfers from the airport and onward to our next destination in Tangalle.

Mixed Experience in Bentota

I spent 14 days here due to my health issues. While Bentota is lovely, it’s not the best place for healing. I was supposed to be on panchakarma, but it didn’t feel like the real deal. If you're looking for genuine panchakarma, I recommend going to India, as there aren’t many skilled doctors or resorts in Sri Lanka. The massages were fantastic; the woman who gave them was excellent, friendly, and kind. However, the food was mostly just large servings of rice and minimal vegetables, and it was extremely spicy. The chef also served me sugary, processed wheat and meats, which are not suitable for panchakarma, leaving me confused. When I raised my concerns, the chef was very rude, which was the worst part of my stay. On a positive note, the waiter, Shaman, was hardworking and very nice, taking on multiple roles. The yoga instructor, Sosin, was incredible, and the yoga classes were the highlight of my visit. The doctors were friendly, but they couldn’t address the lack of professionalism. After 14 days, I’m still struggling with both physical and mental issues, and nothing has improved. I feel sad because I had hoped for a positive outcome, but it just wasn’t enough.

Charming Garden with Room for Improvement

The garden is beautiful, and the location is peaceful, while the rooms are clean. There's potential for a 5-star rating once the new manager has the opportunity to put his plans into action regarding some minor enhancements and staff training. Temporary staff were on duty since the regular steward was away.

I enjoyed a 10-day stay at the villa, indulging in daily Ayurvedic treatments. This place is wonderfully serene, providing a fantastic escape from noise and crowds. I was thrilled with the treatments and really loved the food. The rooms are quite spacious and spotless.

Peaceful Ayurvedic Retreat Experience

I enjoyed a fantastic two-week stay at this Ayurvedic retreat. The environment is tranquil, the staff are incredibly friendly, and the doctors are always available to assist. The treatment therapists are also very supportive. I highly recommend this place and I definitely plan to return.
