Disappointing massage experience

I've experienced many massages, but this one fell short. I specifically requested a medium pressure massage with a herbal pouch treatment. Unfortunately, the pressure was quite light, feeling more like oil being spread on my skin than an actual massage. I asked for more pressure several times, but it wasn't adjusted. To make matters worse, I was surprised when I was informed that the session was over, as I didn't receive the pouch treatment at all. The receptionist seemed to misunderstand my request, thinking I only wanted the long massage. When I brought up the light pressure and lack of adjustments, I was met with a dismissive response, stating that they never receive complaints from others. Additionally, the therapist spent most of the time focusing on my legs and hands, neglecting my back, and her head massage felt more like scrubbing and oil spreading rather than a proper technique. Overall, it was quite disappointing...

This treatment is a lavish, entirely natural DIY spa experience that mixes herbal steam inhalation with a soothing essential oil massage. It helps detoxify, ease muscle tension, clear sinuses, and rejuvenate the skin—all with kitchen herbs and pure oils.

Disappointing Experience at Ayur Bliss

I had a really bad experience at Ayur Bliss today. The spa doesn't match what they promote. The staff lacked professionalism, and the cleanliness was quite poor. The treatment rooms were cramped, giving the impression that they just shoved a massage bed inside without creating a true spa feel. There was no soothing aroma or calming atmosphere. The towels had a very off-putting smell that made me feel nauseous. Additionally, the steam bath was located on a balcony where the noise from traffic completely ruined the experience. There wasn’t even a proper shower available after my treatment. To make things worse, they charge high prices for a service that is well below basic standards. I walked away feeling let down and wouldn't recommend this place to anyone seeking a clean, relaxing, and professional spa experience. I paid 19,000 LKR for the treatment, plus a tip, and I didn’t ask for a refund. I just wanted to share my honest experience. Instead of addressing my concerns, you opted to comment on my behavior, which I think is unprofessional. Customer feedback, whether positive or negative, should be taken seriously. My review accurately reflects what I went through during my visit. I hope you can focus on enhancing your service rather than dismissing customers who provide honest feedback.

Relaxing Treatments for Stress Relief

After my doctor identified my dominant dosha, I enjoyed a soothing oil massage suitable for all doshas, Shirodhara, which involves pouring a generous amount of oil on the forehead to alleviate stress, tension, and stiffness. Additionally, I experienced a warming massage using a hot, upside-down teru teru bozu-like device, which was incredibly relaxing. The staff consistently encouraged me to ask for anything I needed. There was a shower available, but it only had cold water. They kindly turned off the air conditioning at my request since it was chilly. I didn't have time to shower, so I used a towel to wipe off the oil. Once I got home, I was pleased to find that the oil washed off completely with soap. After my long journey, my body felt rejuvenated. I suggest booking your treatment well in advance. Also, it's important to note that while the office and branch share the same name, they have different addresses.
