Exceptional Massage Experience with Sanath

During my stay, I've visited Spa Paralia multiple times. My first massage was with one of the therapists, and while they provide a decent relaxing massage, I have back issues that make such treatments uncomfortable, so I don't benefit much from them. On a subsequent visit with my family, I had the chance to be massaged by Sanath, and I returned as often as possible before I had to leave. He goes well beyond a standard massage; he can identify areas of tension and adjusts the session accordingly for the best results. While it can be painful, the benefits are absolutely worth it. Even after a month, I feel better than I have in years. I've experienced massages in over 15 countries, and I would choose Sanath every time. He has an intuitive understanding of the body and his strength is a tremendous asset for the stretches. His massage work incorporates elements of physiotherapy. I stand straighter now and without headaches. I’d say he has magical hands, but I recognize there’s a lot of skill and training behind it. Regarding being a woman receiving a massage from a man, it’s typically uncomfortable in about 90% of situations, but Sanath is very considerate, ensuring he avoids sensitive areas. Sri Lankan massages generally involve a lot of work on the glutes, but it's done appropriately with no questionable strokes. I wholeheartedly recommend Sanath and would trust him with my little sister. So, it's a perfect 10/10 for me. I would go out of my way to have a massage from Sanath. Plus, he’s quite handsome, but that shouldn’t matter. It’s essential to treat your massage therapists as professionals. We tried around five other salons in the area, but Spa Paralia was the best. The prices are on the higher side for Sri Lanka but reasonable for Negombo.

Incredible Deep Tissue Massage Experience

I had a 90-minute deep tissue massage with Sanath, and I can't recommend it enough! Seriously, this is the deepest massage I've ever experienced in my life, and I've had many! The key here is to completely surrender and trust the process. Sanath worked wonders on my shoulders, hips, and lower back. He communicates effectively and shows a high level of professionalism. His skills are impressive and intuitive, as he identified all my problem areas and applied his full strength to relieve the blockages. I wholeheartedly recommend him!

Excellent massages every time

I've visited this place twice because I enjoyed it so much the first time. My second massage was just as wonderful. I experienced both the deep tissue and back massage, and I can recommend them both. My second masseur was Nisansala; I don't recall the name of the first one, but both were fantastic. Thank you!

Disappointing massage experience

I had a terrible experience. This was the worst massage and head massage I've ever received. I saw all the great reviews, so I’m not sure why my visit was so different. The therapist seemed inexperienced and I felt like I just laid there for an hour while she awkwardly applied oil. I couldn't wait to leave. It was also extremely pricey!

Amazing Ayurvedic Massage Experience

Best Massage in Sri Lanka

During our two-week trip in Sri Lanka, we enjoyed massages every few days. The 90-minute deep tissue massage at Spa Paralia Queen was the best we've experienced here. The therapists were all highly skilled, intuitive, and very professional. We plan to return daily while in Negombo. Sagara provided an incredible technique and effectively worked on all my knots.
