A big thank you to this wonderful family for their kind welcome and hospitality. If you find yourself in the area, I highly recommend staying and dining here in the evening. Make sure to book directly instead of going through Booking.com. This place provides a genuine Sri Lankan experience, much more in touch with reality than typical hotels, all set in a caring and inviting atmosphere.

You receive such a friendly welcome here! It really feels like home, which I appreciate much more than staying at a faceless hotel or dining in a tourist trap. The woman in the kitchen does an amazing job... especially with the variety of dishes available. It's genuinely one-of-a-kind. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone.

😊: My stay in Sri Lanka was fantastic! Thisal and his grandmother are incredibly kind and assist with everything you need, and the food she prepares is simply delicious. The accommodations are basic, typical of a homestay, but they are clean, spacious, equipped with air conditioning, and come with mosquito nets. I would definitely recommend this place!
