Disappointing Service Experience
We were quite let down by the service we received. Despite being charged a significant amount, we felt that we didn't receive the proper care we needed. The diagnosis card indicated ‘Gastric,’ but most of the tests performed resembled those typically conducted for heart attack patients. They also recommended a CTCA scan, which we chose not to go ahead with. Additionally, we encountered issues with incorrect information being sent to the insurance company, leading us to pay out of our own pockets. On a positive note, the doctors and nurses at Suwasewana were attentive and showed genuine care for the patient. However, the patient spent nearly two hours in the ETU, and while we were told that an ECG should be taken every two hours, only a blood test was conducted during that time. Even at discharge and payment, no follow-up ECG was carried out. This is just our personal experience and perspective. We would recommend that others think carefully before deciding, even in an emergency situation.
