The owner of this café is truly wonderful. You can enjoy a soothing cup of coffee while also receiving valuable local tips. He is an incredibly welcoming host. I would absolutely recommend this place, 10 out of 10.

This is the best and most affordable cafe and eatery in Galle. Nayana is an incredibly kind man who serves excellent coffee and sandwiches in the morning, along with amazing Sri Lankan curry in the evening. We also stayed at his beautiful home just outside of Galle, which I highly recommend. If we're ever back in the area, we would definitely return.

This place is a fantastic discovery, and I wholeheartedly suggest checking it out if you're in Galle. The food and drinks are excellent, and the atmosphere is filled with joyful company. Nayana truly shines as a host. We had the pleasure of staying in Nayana’s villa for a few days, which was an absolute delight. You simply must visit!

Akkis Cafe has won our hearts! Ocean and Nayana were incredibly welcoming and ensured everything was just right for us. Although we didn’t get a chance to dine with them, we really wish we had, as the dishes looked fantastic in the photos and videos! Everything is fresh, and we can't recommend it enough! Nayana even kindly offered us some coconut to taste since we had never had it before—such a thoughtful gesture.

I was let down by my experience. They served brown coconuts for drinking, which are better for the flesh rather than the water, and they're typically less expensive than the proper drinking coconuts. To make matters worse, the water bottle I received was already opened.
