What a lovely spot featuring fantastic local dishes! We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, enjoyed a friendly conversation, and even sampled some freshly made Pol Roti for free. It was a 10/10 experience with incredibly kind people at the helm! They also assisted us in resolving an issue with our train tickets to Ella afterward.

This is a wonderful hidden gem! The food is fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly. Situated right by the river, it offers a beautiful atmosphere. I highly recommend it!

We were staying close by and chose to have dinner at this spot. Initially, the restaurant seemed quite empty, but it filled up later. The food was fantastic—make sure to sample their "special" dishes. The portion sizes are enormous. However, their drink selection is somewhat limited.

This place serves the finest Chicken Kottu in Sri Lanka. While we enjoyed our meal, Stephan devoted nearly two hours to discussing everything from Sri Lanka to Australia. The food was incredible, and the genuine service and conversation made it even better. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in Kandy.
