The staff member was extremely rude and didn't know how to treat clients properly. After finishing my makeup, he was gossiping about me to others, which is unprofessional, especially after taking a phone call from a friend. This experience wasn't worth the money or the time spent. I hope he learns to be more professional and kinder to others in the future. Humility is just as important as respect.

I want to express my heartfelt thanks to Sir Dhananjaya Bandara and his team for their incredible efforts with my make-up, hair, and the design and creation of my wedding sari. Mr. Dhananjaya Bandara is a genuine perfectionist, attentive to every detail, and truly skilled in his craft. He collaborates closely with the bride’s vision to design a sari that is not only personalized but also unique and stunning. The make-up and hair he styled for me on the big day enhanced my features beautifully, without being overdone. The team was exceptionally warm towards me, my bridesmaids, and my mother. I was feeling a bit under the weather, and they kindly made me tea, going above and beyond to ensure I looked my absolute best. A special shoutout to Nilupa for my fitting, and to Gayashan for my dress change; both are incredibly talented! I also want to thank Malindu for being reliable and friendly, serving as our main contact throughout the planning, and Dulshan for his assistance in the earlier stages. I can't forget to mention the other staff who supported my bridesmaids on the day; they felt confident and beautiful. Thank you all! It was a truly memorable experience, and I couldn't be more grateful; I wish I could relive it!

Dhanajaya Bandara and his team are incredibly organized and very attentive. They are undoubtedly the finest in Sri Lanka and trailblazers in the fashion sector. While this small review may not hold much weight, he truly represents an unwavering force in Sri Lanka. Nonetheless, I want to share my heartfelt thoughts from my younger self. As young girls, we all envision how we want to appear on our wedding day; it’s a dream every girl holds dear. I always believed achieving my dream look would be nearly impossible. However, on my wedding day, witnessing DB’s magical touch exceed the vision I had since childhood was absolutely enchanting. I'll forever cherish the moment I saw myself after all the glam—it’s a memory I will hold dear for the rest of my life. Thank you for making me the most beautiful I have ever been and will ever be. Perhaps as I grow older, I will look back on that precious moment with the same fondness, or even greater, just as I did when I was a little girl. Thank you once more for making me a stunning bride, and thanks to the entire team for all your support.

I picked Dhananjaya Banda as my bridal dresser because I was impressed by the brides he showcased on Instagram. Sadly, my actual experience was quite disheartening. I arrived in Sri Lanka just two weeks before my wedding, without any bridesmaids, just me. When I inquired if my mother could also be dressed, I was informed that neither he nor his team would handle mothers’ dressing. However, I later saw on his Instagram that his assistants do in fact dress brides’ mothers, which was confusing and distressing. Consequently, my mother had to find another makeup artist elsewhere, which meant we couldn’t perform the significant ritual of her placing the thali on me. This was emotionally painful for our family. During the trial, his assistant mentioned that “Dhananjaya will be putting the thali anyway, so there’s no point doing the ritual.” At that moment, I accepted it, but after observing how other brides were treated, I realized this didn’t line up with what’s genuinely offered. I felt that celebrities and affluent families received priority, while regular brides like me were treated quite differently. This was heartbreaking, as being a bride is a once-in-a-lifetime dream. As a tan-skinned bride, the makeup made me appear much darker than my actual tone. I was never consulted about my preferences, such as lipstick color or overall style. There was a lack of consultation, warmth, and care. Throughout the process, I felt dismissed and disrespected. The overall demeanor was cold and unwelcoming, and even the staff seemed uneasy. Given my experience, I would never suggest Dhananjaya Banda to any bride. I genuinely hope no other bride has to endure what I did on such a significant day.
