    Declining Care for Pets

    For the past five years, I've brought my pets here, but I've noticed a significant decline in the quality of care. The veterinarians used to be knowledgeable and truly caring, but it seems that most of the competent doctors have left the practice. What’s particularly disheartening now is the attitude towards pet owners. Instead of feeling supported, I often feel brushed off or not taken seriously. Additionally, there appears to be a new trainee doctor who lacks the basic knowledge and confidence one would expect in a veterinary environment. This doesn’t instill trust when it comes to my pets' health. Overall, this place has lost its former quality. I truly hope they take steps to enhance their staff training and improve their customer interactions, as I cannot recommend this place with confidence at this time.

    Excellent veterinary care for pets

    I took my dog to Best Care VetZone Animal Hospital to have a mammary tumor removed. This place came highly recommended for its excellent veterinary services and advanced equipment. The staff were warm, accommodating, and made sure to explain everything in detail. They walked me through the entire process, from the initial check-up to the surgery and aftercare. The surgery was successful, and my dog is on the mend. I’m truly grateful for the compassionate and attentive support we received. I strongly recommend Best Care VetZone to any pet owner in the Kandy area seeking safe and dependable treatment.

    Excellent Mobile Vet Service

    My German Shepherd had been vomiting and had bloody diarrhea, so I reached out to Best Care Vet Zone’s mobile service. They arrived at my home within a few hours after my call. Dr. Madushanka and his assistant thoroughly examined my dog, provided the necessary medications, and took a blood sample for further testing. Thankfully, my dog showed positive signs and made a full recovery. I wholeheartedly recommend the mobile service from Best Care Vet Zone.

    Severe Negligence and Disrespect

    Consider carefully before relying on Best Care VetZone. I placed my complete trust in them to obtain a vital medical report for my pet, but was met with significant negligence and disrespect. My pet's report was held for more than 24 hours without any explanation, putting their medical treatment at risk. Additionally, a specific female staff member at the reception displayed a total absence of professional courtesy and respect. When I raised my concerns, the management tried to dodge accountability by giving irrelevant updates about 'staff changes' instead of offering a proper apology for this behavior. It's important to note that under the Consumer Affairs Authority Act No. 9 of 2003, service providers must uphold a professional standard, which includes treating clients respectfully. Withholding essential medical information is a form of professional negligence and violates a client's right to know. I am formally notifying management that I will be escalating this issue to the Sri Lanka Veterinary Council (SLVC), the Private Health Services Regulatory Council (PHSRC), and the Department of Animal Production and Health (DAPH) due to professional misconduct and a breach of duty of care. I strongly advise other pet owners to look for more dependable and accountable veterinary services elsewhere.

    Excellent service and care for pets

    The service here is outstanding! The facility is quite spacious and maintains excellent hygiene. They provide all the essential care and appropriate treatments for our beloved pets. What impressed me the most was their dedication to ensuring we fully understood our pet's condition, diagnosis, treatment plan, and all related procedures, including testing and aftercare, delivered in a very polite manner. I couldn't be more satisfied. Highly recommended!
