Disappointing trip organization

I booked a week-long trip to explore Ramayan-related sites and the beaches on the west coast in December 2025. Unfortunately, the accommodations were below average, and the itinerary was poorly managed, cramming in more locations than could realistically be visited in one day. It felt like a way to take advantage of tourists. To top it off, I didn’t receive any invoice for my payment. However, I want to give credit to Mr. Lankesh, the chauffeur, and Ms. Pavitra, the coordinator, for their efforts.

Exceptional Travel Service Experience

From the initial contact for my short getaway, their response was enthusiastic, and I appreciated the verbal communication when I called. The agent assigned to my account was polite, professional, and extremely helpful. In essence, LCT focuses on fulfilling your preferences regarding budget and duration, while offering choices for destinations, activities, hotel selections, meals, and even travel routes, ultimately leading to a comprehensive itinerary and pricing for the selected options. Upon arriving in Colombo, we were welcomed by our driver and guide holding a placard. They even assisted us with currency exchanges (the rates are reportedly the same for banks and private exchanges) and obtaining SIM cards. We took an exclusive van ride for just the three of us directly to Nuwara Eliya for one night, followed by a night in Ella. In Nuwara, we enjoyed a scenic train ride to Ella. From Ella, we made our way back to Colombo for another night, taking the picturesque coastal route through Galle before heading to the airport the next day. The service was outstanding, and the selection of hotels (based on different rates) was excellent. They maintained constant communication to ensure our well-being. Truly, service at its finest.
