Outstanding Experience with Sahan in Sri Lanka

We just got back from an amazing holiday in Sri Lanka, arranged through Trailfinders and organized locally by Walkers Tours. Our driver and guide, Sahan Pansilu, was fantastic. He was always on time, kept the car spotless, and navigated the challenging Sri Lankan traffic with skill and confidence—quite an accomplishment! Sahan was not only professional but also incredibly knowledgeable. He guided us through local customs and shared his expertise about the places we visited, including the Cultural Triangle, Nuwara Eliya, and Udawalawe, where he was great at pointing out various plants, birds, and animals. Sahan was always prepared, keeping us informed about what to expect each day and what clothing to wear. He prioritized our safety and ensured we had the best experiences, showing he genuinely cared about our interests. Sri Lanka's beauty was enhanced by Sahan’s presence, making it a truly unforgettable trip. Outstanding Guide Made Trip Memorable

Amazing private tour of Sri Lanka

We were fortunate to have Dinuk as our guide for a 6-day private tour in Sri Lanka. From the moment he picked us up at the airport until he dropped us off at our last hotel, he was fantastic! His knowledge of the region and the attractions we visited was impressive. Even though we had a rough itinerary, he was flexible and let us explore some additional sights we were interested in. We never felt rushed, and he adapted to our pace throughout the day. His driving was calm and steady, which made us feel safe on what appeared to be chaotic roads. As a nice gesture, he even gifted us something at the end of our time together. Our only regret is that we didn't book a longer tour!

Incredible Sri Lanka Experience with Ash

Our time in Sri Lanka was absolutely incredible, thanks to Walkers Tours through Trailfinders in the UK. This was our first time having a driver, as we usually prefer self-drive holidays. From the moment we met Ash, we felt completely comfortable. He is such a wonderful person—diligent, an excellent driver, and incredibly proud of his homeland. We gained so much insight into Sri Lanka through him. His knowledge about the temples, history, and Buddhism enriched our visits. Ash also introduced us to local cuisine, Sri Lankan spices, and various restaurants, which allowed us to truly immerse ourselves in Sri Lankan culture. Due to train service disruptions, we traveled to Nuwara Eliya by car, which turned out to be a stunning journey, and our thoughts are with those affected by the recent floods. A standout moment for me was the wildlife safari, where we saw elephants and their calves in their natural habitat. We were fortunate to be in Nuwara Eliya on February 4th, which is Sri Lanka's Independence Day, and we got to witness the local procession and celebrations. The accommodations throughout our trip were excellent. We are incredibly grateful to Ash for making our holiday so memorable, and we will cherish this experience forever.

Fantastic Tour of Southwest Sri Lanka

I just got back from an amazing tour of southwestern Sri Lanka, which I booked through Undiscovered. Some of the recommended activities included rafting and canyoning on the Kelani River, taking a train ride through the hinterland, staying at Cliff Lodge, visiting Horton Plains, exploring Udawalewe National Park, and enjoying the beach at Hikkaduwe. We were really pleased with our driver and guide, Sudath. He was an excellent driver, cheerful, dependable, and always punctual. Plus, we noticed he was in great shape during our hikes. The car was well-maintained, and there were always bottles of water available. Beyond the scheduled activities, Sudath also took us to additional sights with stunning views. He was always attentive to our needs; in short, we felt fully taken care of. Anjalika put in a lot of effort to arrange a train ride for us, which was much appreciated.

In April 2026, we traveled through much of southern Sri Lanka with Walkers, and the experience was truly top-notch from the moment we were picked up to our departure at the airport.
