Avoid this place at all costs
Women should be more cautious about their safety here. It’s better to visit with a guardian. I had a truly awful experience. If you need x-rays, I recommend going somewhere else. There’s insufficient safety for women visiting for x-rays, as you have to be alone in the room if no one is there to accompany you. There wasn’t even a single nurse present. It feels like a vulnerable environment. Additionally, they don’t accept card payments, especially during this pandemic. It feels like a place stuck in the stone age. The cleanliness doesn't compare to private hospitals, and it’s quite congested. Overall, it doesn’t feel welcoming, more like a traditional government hospital. The doctors aren’t any better either. There have been numerous troubling incidents. They seem more focused on extracting money from patients rather than on their well-being. One patient was prescribed lifelong medication for hypertension by one of their VPs without proper testing, and after six months, it turned out those medications were completely unnecessary after proper evaluations at Kurunegala. They also don’t listen to any questions or concerns. The doctors appear to lack proper qualifications to practice. I strongly advise against visiting this place.
