I'm incredibly frustrated with Balasooriya Hospital in Puttalam! I spent 1 hour and 45 minutes trying to reach them on their hotline, but no one answered my calls. If this is their approach to customer inquiries, I can only dread how poor their actual service must be. I'm really disappointed and definitely wouldn't recommend them.

I had an appointment with Dr. Hilmi Salih (VOG) at 8:30 PM at Balasooriya Hospital, but by 10:00 PM, I was still waiting with no updates, no communication, and no sign of responsibility from either the hospital staff or the doctor. Such a lengthy delay is utterly unacceptable for any medical facility, particularly one that caters to vulnerable patients. There seems to be a complete lack of organization, disregard for patients’ time, and no apologies or explanations provided. This reflects a serious deficiency in professionalism, discipline, and basic courtesy from both the hospital management and the doctor. Hospitals should prioritize patient care, yet this experience highlights severe patient neglect, mismanagement, and a total lack of respect for individuals' time and health. I strongly recommend that others think twice before choosing Balasooriya Hospital, especially for appointments with Dr. Hilmi Salih.😡

We visited for the x-ray facility, and the girl in blue pants was extremely rude. The customer service was disappointing, and I can't understand why she behaved that way. Her expression was quite unfriendly.

The service was excellent. We brought our baby along, and the staff were incredibly polite and supportive throughout our visit. I highly recommend this place. The prices were also reasonable.

My first visit here was really disappointing. The staff informed me that my report would be ready in an hour. After waiting that hour, it still wasn’t done. I went home and returned later, but after an hour and a half, it was still not ready. The front desk staff didn’t make an effort to assist me or check on the lab’s progress. It felt like they didn’t value my time at all. Very poor service.

Very unprofessional. My sister had a really unpleasant time during her medical check-up. It took over a week to get the blood results back, even though they claimed it would take about 4 days. Filling out the form took more than 4 hours. We had to redo it twice, wasting two forms and two photos, and the third submission still had typing errors. I told her to just give up because it seemed like it would take another long wait to fix it. They kept asking her the same information, and the staff on the next shift had no idea what had happened earlier. It was so frustrating going back and forth. Yet, they charge as if they offer a very efficient service. Please hire skilled, smart, and professional staff members!

My visit to this hospital was extremely frustrating. The basic amenities are seriously inadequate; the fans were out of order, which made the packed waiting area really uncomfortable. There’s also a significant lack of seating, forcing many patients to stand for extended periods. To top it all off, the security personnel were quite rude. For a facility meant for care, both the atmosphere and management leave much to be desired.🙄

I received my lab report today, and it was just terrible and a mess. It lacks professionalism; don’t you have any pride in your own brand? Even a small roadside coffee shop has better branding than this subpar hospital. I’m not sure when you will start learning from others and make improvements.
