This Cargills location stands out among other outlets in Matara. There's plenty of parking available, and I’ve heard this was the first site to use a plastic mixture for its parking lot surface. It’s not too crowded, making it a relaxing spot for shopping. While customer service tends to be lacking at most Cargills, this branch still manages to provide some level of service.

I want to share my concerns about a recent trip to your store. The store is well-organized and has a comfortable atmosphere, and the staff is generally friendly. However, I was quite let down by the absence of basic toilet facilities, especially for children. During our visit, my little ones really needed to use the restroom. When we inquired with the staff at the entrance, we were told the toilets were undergoing renovations and were not available. Unfortunately, young children can't be expected to 'hold on' in these situations, and there was no alternative offered. While it's clear that customers come to your store mainly to buy food, having access to essential amenities like restrooms is crucial—especially for families with kids and during emergencies. It's hard to grasp how a business of this scale can function without providing such a basic necessity.
